Hi
I found your forum a few days ago and decide to become a member. A lot of great info here. I just learn about e-cig a week ago, and I wanted to learn more. I'm a pack+ a day smoker for 36 yrs. Tried to give them up once and failed. So were going to try e-cig. I have just place an order for a starter kit. Should have it on Friday. I really hoping I can make this work.

Thanks
Al

Welcome to ECF - lots of friendly, helpful folk here to help you on your vaping journey away from the land of the stinkysticks!

So - what kind of starter kit did you buy? We don't ask so we can ridicule your choice - we ask so you can be better advised if you experience problems or want to know "what next?"

eGo's are good batteries, especially with cartos for a starter. The ego-T's & -C, not so good. They drive people crazy. Just take your time filling your cartos, do them right & your in vaping heaven. If you still get urges for analogs, bump up the nic in your juice & vape as much you need. You'll be a non-smoker soon. Good starter = good luck & no analogs needed.

Thanks Everyone. There was many to choose from. After reading the forum I was really confused. Everybody seems to have their favorite. So I decide to try the eGo 1100 Cartomizer Starter Kit, and a bottle of USA Mix Light - 18mg. I'm sure I will have many problem getting started.

You can't go wrong with that combo of unit and juice.

Welcome, your going to find ecf a real boon to keep you off the "backy". Your right that everyone has their favorites and it is confusing. When you get frustated with over info, look at the posts of the vets. They know almost all the brands and price range and even customer service. I think you did verry well in your pick.

Well good or bad , I look at it as what I have spent = a week worth of regular smokes. So if it last past a week its paid for it self. In that week hopefully I have learn something about e-cig. The place I made the purchase was a great help to. When I receive it, I'm suppose to call them back and there going to walk me through it all. Have to start somewhere.
