Hello All! Like many new e-cig users I've spent the last couple of weeks lurking around and learning as much as I possibly can. After much reading and researching I decided to order my first e-cig from puresmoker.com. I decided that I wasn't going to place any major expectations on the device and I would just see what happens. I received my order yesterday afternoon around 1pm (from CA to FL in 2 days...wow! Thanks Steve!). I immediately fired her up and spent the rest of the day working at my desk in my house with my kids running all around while "smoking"! It wasn't until late last night around 10 or so that I realized I hadn't had a single real cigarette since I got this thing at 1! I ended up having half a cigarette last night before bed and hated it. The smoke burned my throat and I coughed like crazy and it tasted HORRIBLE. I woke this morning and reached for my e-cig rather than going outside for my morning smoke with my coffee. I sat on my bed and watched the news with my coffee and my e-cig and was happy as could be. After about an hour that need to follow routine took over and I went outside for a real cig again. Same results, hated everything about it, got through half of it and put it out then came in for my e-cig. All this being said, you must understand that it's been a good 8 years since I've gone more than a couple of hours without a real cigarette. I never expected that the e-cig would truly replace cigarettes for me. I only hoped that it would help me to cut down a bit. I honestly don't see myself going back to real cigs at all.

So - in closing. Thank you all for this excellent forum and all the help and tips that you provide. I was completely comfortable with my e-cig by the time that it got here because I had read all the tips and watched all the vids. Once my cartridge began to dry up a bit last night I popped it out and topped it off with my liquid and went right back to vaping away. One last note (get ready for my commercial) puresmoker.com was excellent. Great service, fast shipping, good price. Thanks Steve for making it a painfree transaction for me and keep an eye out - my order for my 901 will be in there soon as well as an order for my hubby, my best friend, my mom and my aunt! :thumb:

Hi Mommyshann - congratulations on making the switch. I started yesterday so have been having a very similar experience to yourself. I found that yesterday I smoked a couple of cigarettes and didn't enjoy them but I think the reason I did it was because they were there.

I got rid of the packet today and when my mind turns to them it's a choice between going to the shop or toking on my 36mg coconut e-liquid. E-liquid is winning at the moment, no fags all day :)

Anyway you may find it helps to get rid of the fags from the house altogether, it seems to be doing it for me anyway.

I'd love to do that Scrub but my hubby would divorce me as he doesn't have an e-cig yet (I'll be converting him soon) and I won't share mine. So for the moment they must stay around the house. However, I'm actually enjoying the every-once-in-a-while cig that makes me feel like crap. It reminds me that I'm very happy with my e-cig and don't need those things. :D

Nice nice! Welcome to the club, lol. After smoking my e-cig for a few days I had a real cig and I also thought it was disgusting, it made me feeling like puking after smoking just 3-4 drags. I put it out and never touched one again! It's been like 6-7 months now with my e-cig

I also see what non-smokers have to go through when I was around! When you dont smoke tobacco you can smell it on people SO much, and it's such a nasty smell.

Hahaha, nicely done Tex. I'm sure she'll speak to you again, though I'm not so sure you will want to hear what she has to say! If you do come up with this spray concoction let me know, I'll be first in line to buy some so I don't have to smell my stinky hubby anymore. I'm thinking of moving him to the couch so he doesn't stink up my nice new bed! ;)
