I've been lurking for a bit and figured I'd finally post with a few questions that I can't seem to find answers to (although I'm sure they might be here somewhere... ).

Here's the deal-- I just got my DSE901 kit a few days ago after reading here that it was a good one to start with. So far so good but I only have 2 atomizers and 2 batteries so I should probably order some of that right now...I have 40ml total of juice and have much more on the way already plus a case. I didn't think at first about the logistics of lugging around all the "stuff" so I'm anxious to get that, ha!

Okay so my questions are:

I don't quite understand what a "manual switch" does or why it would be a good thing.

I do get why the USB passthrough would be good but wonder if that's more for heavier users?

I might be interested in ordering some more prefilled carts to have on hand...not every place seems to have these...is there any recommended supplier?

If you get a car charger is it like a passthrough where you can use the device while it's plugged in?

Thanks so much for all the help. I haven't touched an analog since I got my starter package. :D Or even wanted too! This is way more fun although I think I might add two new addictions-- vaping plus shopping for vaping stuff. :hubba:

Just gotta get my husband on board with it...he's a heavy smoker...but I'm not gonna push him...just hoping it rubs off on him some...

Thanks for the help.

Hi Mrs. Orange and welcome......

with a normal e cig like your 901 there is a automatic sensor to tell the atomizer to heat up when you inhale and usually there a cutoff to stop you inhaling for too long, on a manual you control the atomizer. Basically you press the switch on a manual and the atomizer heats up so gives you more control (IE you can press switch before inhaling so atomizer heated up when you vape) hope this makes sense?

As you say a pass through good idea for heavy users, but also good idea if you say sat at computer all day so saves battery charging discharging and always to hand.

Cartridges there a lot of good suppliers but can recommend Wicked USA

Electric Cigarette & E Liquid - Totally Wicked Electronic Cigarette Fluid

As far as I know car chargers are just that they just charge batteries unless someone makes one like you thinking off? (if am wrong somebody will be sure to tell you ha-ha) But you can get usb car adapters so could use a pass through that way!

As you say it very addictive just like nicotine itself ha-ha! I spent £500 in first few months alone so well worth asking questions before buying!

Regards Mufftrix....

The answers are there, just hard to find at times, because there's so much of it.

Here's the deal-- I just got my DSE901 kit a few days ago after reading here that it was a good one to start with. So far so good but I only have 2 atomizers and 2 batteries so I should probably order some of that right now...I have 40ml total of juice and have much more on the way already plus a case. The auto switch turns on the battery when you suck on it. The manual battery has a button you press to turn it on. You just have to be careful with the manuals, that you don't leave them on too long and burn out the atomizer.

I do get why the USB passthrough would be good but wonder if that's more for heavier users?

Passthroughs are great when you're not on the move. They save your batteries for the times you go out.

I might be interested in ordering some more prefilled carts to have on hand...not every place seems to have these...is there any recommended supplier?

If you have juice, the blank carts are a lot cheaper. You just fill them.

If you get a car charger is it like a passthrough where you can use the device while it's plugged in?

You're chargers only charge the batteries. You can get a car adapter for your passthrough, as well as a 110v adapter. I'm using the 110v adapter right now. I don't like to stress out my computer USB ports.

Thanks so much for all the help. I haven't touched an analog since I got my starter package. :D Or even wanted too! This is way more fun although I think I might add two new addictions-- vaping plus shopping for vaping stuff. :hubba:

Good luck with the hubby.

Thanks for the help.

Cheers;
