I'm 40 but I care to say I am 30`ish... that's my story and I'm sticking to it! :) I started smoking cigarettes when I was 12 years old. My preferred brand is MORE 120's but I've been smoking Eve Slim Light 120's lately. I smoked about 1-2 packs/day... depending on what kind of mood I'm in! :D

I stumbled upon Disposables E-Cigarettes (The SS Choice No.7 Disposable E-Cigarette). 13 bucks just to TRY and see if it was something I could live with before committing to an expensive kit is a great idea! But I killed the battery in 4hrs of the disposable pack! I guess I hit too hard, fast, or something? LOL!) But I was sold on e-cigs!

I only know of two places to purchase kits locally and they appealed to me because I had no desire to wait for the mailman to bring me a smoke. One is the Smoke Stik and the other was an unknown brand. I ran a google search on the Smoke Stik and found mixed reviews, mostly bad, so I went with the other one. The E-CIG Model XP-85107 Starter Kit.

I'm having a hard time figuring this out. It's not easy to draw on unless it has a new cartridge in it. If I want a really good hit off it I have to suck really hard, slow, long, and get a head rush that could knock me over and kill the battery, LOL! I haven't bought a back up because I doubt this is the kit for me. I just want to feel it and see the (vapor) smoke... and it's nice when it doesn't overheat and taste like an ash and .... ;-)

The internet has an overload of information, different brands, tips, reviews, technical information, yadda, yadda, yadda and it’s taking too long to learn it. The most I know is that I was smoking a pack and a half 5 days ago and now I've smoked less than one pack in 4 days! I’m very happy about that but I want to do better! I would love to not smoke cigarettes anymore and I’m amazed I even have a chance!

Are any ex cancer stick smokers familiar with 120's like MORE? What kit would you recommend I try?

TIA,

Peggy

I started out with a $150 investment for one I found in a smoke shop, it didn't work well, but I could see the potential. It made me investigate and I found this board. That took me to buying the 510 and another $300 investment which was ok and got me off cigs. (I also bought 510 kits for my two brother in laws and sister, but I don't count that as an investment because they were gifts ;) ) Don't get me wrong, the 510 was ok, but high maintenence and inconsistancy in throat hits made me long for something simpler and more consistant. Well, I found it! The VaporKing from Vapor4Life is simply AWESOME! And Steve and Vapor4Life is the bomb! Seriously! I heartily recommend the VaporKing for anyone looking to replace their cigs with something more healthy! Check out the Vapor4Life forum in the Suppliers section of this website if you want to learn more!

Whatever you end up with - I hope you love vaping as much as I do! :hubba:

Thank you JenJen for your reply. Hmmm, that piece looks like the one I'm using except I can't buy filled cartridges and just top them off or something to get the brewhaha I need.

Am I really going to get all Freddy Flintstones with this and fill my own cartridges?

The VaporKing cartomizers last a long time, I am really loving this ecig! It is the easiest and most satisfying ecig I have tried, but whatever works for you is great! My plan is to buy the filled cartomizers then refill them a few times before I toss them. The atty is built into the cartridge so the VaporKing is two pieces instead of three. I love that! :) Good luck to you!

Don't listen to the hype about "one cartridge = one pack of cigarettes"--it is baloney (although sometimes they specify that they mean one cartridge is the *nicotine equivalent* of one pack"--but I am not buy that either.)

Practically speaking, one cartridge lasts about as long as 3-4 cigarettes. WIth 120s less. And I have never been able to get all of the juice out of a cartridge--I top them off. If someone is able to get an entire cartridge to vape, please let me know how you do it:D I have a couple of bottles of squished out juice from used carts.

Don't pop for the pre-filled carts--buy blanks and fill your own. You will be happier in the long run. And you will save $.

An 801 (minus the mouthpiece) is almost exactly the same length as a 120mm cigarette, but it has a larger diameter, like a felt-tipped pen. The others are a tad shorter, but smaller around.

Most people around here prefer 510s, which are very nice, but have a battery life that is pretty short. You can get a PCC to help with this--they are very handy and you can charge a battery ~5 times on one charge of the PCC. You can also get a PCC for 901s--but only for automatic batteries.

I have 401s, 510s, 801s, 901s and a Janty Stick, and my "favorite" changes daily--sometimes several times wihin a day--so I will not make a recommendation;)

JenJen, how many carts do you order? Like I said I was about a pack+half smoker but the ones I'm getting locally must be dried out or something because I could go through 3-4 of these things a day *gasp!

Sorry, didn't see this. I find that these cartomizers easily last twice as long as the 510 carts (and that is with dripping and dropping on the 510 cart all day) I have bought tons of carts, mainly to taste all of Steves great flavors. I plan on saving the carts and refilling them once a week - will probably reuse each cart about twice before tossing. Refilling is very simple and can help costs. Truth is, even if you tossed without refilling it is still cheaper then analogs by a long shot. And when you add in taste and being healthier for you - there is no contest. I don't think anyone would be disappointed by the VaporKing from Vapor4Life. Steve takes care of his people!
