Another noob question - ego-T Tank Caps...

Are they supposed to be this tough to pop off?! Dear Lord!

I just received my Joye eGo-T (Thank you Vapor Room!) and I'm trying to pop the top off one of the tanks, and it just ain't workin'.

I'm half tempted to use a screwdriver. lol!

Are they always this tough? Or am I just a wimp?

OK...never mind. The little hole in the tanks is just big enough for the tip of the bottle (as long as you don't twitch. Lol)

This was my 1st type of vape system. I thought, French Tip & a suedo tank = Awesome! They leak after a few refills no matter if you take the bottom off or not. But a solution took me to Boge 2.0 cartomizers and to a J-Tank system.

I double a paper towel and place it over the cap to get it off. Put the tip of a fingernail in the side channel. And be sure to wipe the cap and tank sides when refilling. That and swab out the cone sides and bottom of the chamber to keep condensation / excess juice accumulation down. So long as you keep up on it you should seldom experience leaking.

yea get the soft caps and to get the hard caps off I use tweezers, not sure I'd recommend using them a lot though because they damage the edge of the tank a little if it's tough to pop off.

I thought it was ridiculously hard to get the hard caps off, and resorted to clenching them in my teeth then pullling from the mouthpiece, but I don't recommend that method. Thankfully when I got my supplies, some of the soft rupper caps were included. I tossed the hard ones in the garbage.

Corley - I know exactly what you mean. Those hard caps are real buggers. Definitely will look into the soft caps next time.

I haven't had much issue with getting them off, but removing that tiny hanging "chad" after puncturing a new tank drives me up a wall. Sometimes I get so frustrated that I have to put the thing down for a few minutes... usually it pops right off for me after that.

Using a paper clip to pry from the side works. After you pop em on and off a few times they get easier to remove with your finger nail (without tearing it off)

I use an exacto knife to cut it out.

The ones I found were super cheap, so I am sure they will be 100% worth it. That was brutal on the teeth.
