I double a paper towel and place it over the cap to get it off. Put the tip of a fingernail in the side channel. And be sure to wipe the cap and tank sides when refilling. That and swab out the cone sides and bottom of the chamber to keep condensation / excess juice accumulation down. So long as you keep up on it you should seldom experience leaking.
