Another pass thru question

Ive heard of people using them for the PT - successfully but personally I wouldn't want to risk the very small chance of a short which which ruin your USB slot. I got this 2 amp AC to USB Adapter, ideal for Passthroughs and it works just fine 
i have and do. the output needs/must be at least 4.8 vdc and mAh should be 1000 (or 1 A)
i have the little 1" square and the 2x2x1" square with the wall plug part that can be taken out and a different countrys wall plug put on it, both have been used for a year, and both still work on ipod and iphone no problems. its the car cig plugs that i had problems with finding the right outputs 5 volts dc and 1 to 1.5mAh finially got two, one is a double usb out and the other is the expensive power jolt rig (if you got the money, the extra stuff may come handy. with the power jolt i mean)
i, for kicks run the cube 110vAC on a car inverter and it worked fine, well the cords were a nightmare hehe, bit the bullit and bought the power jolt stuff, about a month later found the double usb output car cigarette lighter plug for 9$ at wallyworld, 2 iphone, 1 ipod, 2 homemade passthrus, 1 auto PT from vaporguys((out of bussniness, though the PT works fine after almost 1 year of dripping on a unsealed auto PT)) and two digtal cameras pic, video.
Captjay, i think its not computer port he was asking about????that link is good though.
so if it melts, i would be very suprised, not that it wont happen, this is the planet of lawsuits because the coffee is too hot after all, and if something happens to PT where as internal short causes something to happen, even though i ran a atty to falure to see what would happen to my first homemade PT and got about 10 minutes untill coil in atty broke, the PT was fine, the apple ipod power cube was fine, (yes, i kill attys for fun sometimes,so never loan me a atty, )

I have purchased several 1A adapters that simply didn't work......instead of buying four 1A for $3 each that don't work, buy one 2A adapter for $9 and be done with it....
what kindo PT? straight or inline batt? i had some 750mAh that worked slow on straight PTs, never got or made a inline batt PT...
I have images of you and a friend arguing about whether you really saw vapor that time or only imagined it......
