It was vape bunny who gave up smoking for 20+ years and being sneaky about it got me on the road to mine :D Though i am working on something for you tube that may or may not work for Canadians.

Just worked for me so i shared it with a bunch of my friends on facebook too, hope they all see the importance of this and take a stand, we are being seriously taken advantage of by our government and hc and this needs to stop now. How can a group of people have total control over what we as Canadians decide to do, I mean why not cancel selling all nic gums, patches, champex etc while we are at to boost tobacco sales then tax it some more..............a$$ho*&s !!!!!!!!!!

HC has stated that no testing has been done. Drug store NRTs have been tested.

There has been a lot of talk about ECTA lately. The onus for testing falls on them.

These are the facts. No testing equals no approval. Petitions equals "not a test"

I am very leery of these kind of requests. I'm not sure people realize what they are asking. IF HC regulated the e-cig market then they would likely only grant licenses to the big companies, who would then charge a fortune for an inferior product, like the nic inhalers. I remember back before I started vaping, I figured out that it would be more expensive to buy this garbage than to smoke, and I was spending $600 a month on cigarettes. So I feel it would clearly be best if HC just stays the heck out of this as they essentially do now.

The only thing that's really going on is having the odd international order be seized, although you can bet that if this were regulated that wouldn't change and they would not allow you to import then either, since these products would certainly be "
unapproved." Plus, the companies who would now be selling the "approved" products would put all sorts of pressure on the government to shut down the suppliers we have now, through new laws and enforcement.

This is a very bad idea and I would let sleeping dogs lie.

Just to add to my post, I want to make clear that I am all for speaking out against government oppression. I'm also a practical man though. What do we hope to gain by riling up these fools? The only real restriction on vaping is that if you don't have a computer or know someone who does, you are going to have trouble ordering. So if that's the case, you would be far better off focusing your time and efforts on looking to get access to the online world, which will solve all your problems.

Other than that, we could climb up on the pulpit as Martin Luther King did, and profess that we have a dream, where all Canadians would have cheap access to vaping products at the retail level. This is an impossible dream though as cheap retail access to nicotine products will never happen. This dream isn't the least bit necessary though as our dreams are already easily realized.

So HC has indeed banned nicotine based e-cigarettes long ago, and this reminds me of the old Jim Stafford song Wildwood Weed. "We just smiled and waved, sitting on our sack of seeds" :D

I totally agree with KingKobra. I'll add that unless there are real health concerns wrt unregulated e-cigs then the status quo should be much more preferable than regulation. Right now it seems to me that we have an insane amount of choice while not paying undue taxes. I doubt this would be the case were e-cigs to face regulation.
Yep, I totally agree with this.
