Okay I have officially had my Provari for 2 days now, and at first I wasn't going to post anything, because the Provari gets plenty of praise, but now, well I feel I have to.
First off, I should say that I am a tinkerer. I haven't in fact used a "real" e-cig in about 2 months, since I stopped using my v4L kit in favor of building mods. I don't however, enjoy constantly tinkering on something I consider a necessity. I am not a well off person, but I will spend the extra money for something I know is worth it. Same reason I bought a Mac. I bought a Provari because of all the high praise I have read, and the reviews I have seen. What attracted me most was the ease of use and the sleak design of the unit. Pictures do not do it justice either. Trust me, this thing is just beautiful. Also, it looks bigger than it really is in the pictures. My girlfriend wanted a Joye eGo, BECAUSE she said the Provari looks huge. Now that I have it here, she is saving her money to get one of her own.
Now as far as actual use, I never even looked at the manual. I have read threads on safe use, etc. Took less than a minute to toggle through the settings and figure them out. I popped in a charged battery, screwed on an atty, and took a hit, hmmm...needs higher voltage, tap tap tap on the button, take another hit, and yep, great! Couldn't possibly be easier. All of 30 seconds to get it.
Another thing I noticed was that LR atties seems much smoother with fuller vapor at 3.7v, than on other mods/808's/510's at the same voltage.
When I smoked I was at a pack a day, and I feel like my habits haven't really changed, I'm not a chain vaper. At that rate I mind that the normal 18490 battery lasts me ~1.5 days.
I do wish that the drip well would draw excess liquid back into the atty, but I am still glad it's there, regardless. It makes keeping the unit, and my hands, free of e-liquid much easier. A simple q-tip to clean out the drip well and done.
All in all, I couldn't be happier that I bought this unit. This is, as I like to put it, the Maserati of the vaping world.
