Another protank question but alittle differant i think!

So i am using a protank two for while but ive been having this problem latley (im using it on a chi you clone mod with a 18350 battery) that if i use 1.8 ohm coil when the battery is fresh at 4.17 volts it tastes burnt and nasty but when the battery dies down its not bad. When i use a 2.4 ohm coil its decent in the beginning with a strong battery but the taste and vape dies out when the voltage drops some. So anyone have a fix for this? should i try using a 2 ohm coil? Btw I've been making my own coils
