Another question about voltages/atomizers

i'm planning on getting a big chuck sometime in the near future, and i was wondering which atomizer and voltage combo i should use. my main concern is the long-term cost. i narrowed my preferences down to:

3.7v, LR 510 atties
6v, 510 cartomizers - a lot of people use this, but it seems like it would burn the cartomizer?

i've never tried LR atties or cartomizers. my main vape right now is a 510 protege, and i also use a 5v 510 passthrough. which option do you guys think will save more money in the long run? should i look at other options?

i'm only going to buy one type of batteries and a charger for now, so i'm not sure which one it should be. right now, i'm leaning towards the 6v though.

3.7 is rellay good and battery last super long I don't really care for 6v, I have both and like 3.7 and LR atties

I use 510 cartos @6v and have only burnt one up, but that was because I let a heavy VG based liquid sit in it for over a week between uses. Coupled with the non airtight seal, I'm pretty sure something hardened in there and caused a contact... got one hell of a mean throat hit off it and nearly coughed my boys out my mouth.

Was lesson learned: stop putting ALL my damn flavors into cartos at the same time. Since then I've gone down to rotating 3-4 cartos instead of 10.

haha, so pretty much i shouldn't worry about burning cartos at 6v? i'm really leaning towards cartomizers over atomizers for the simple fact that atomizers aren't reliable at all and one might last one week and the other a month. hows cartos at 3.7v vs 6v?

The carts I have don't seem to produce very well @ 3.7, I have to take a massive long draw, coupled with less flavor. At 6 I get a quick 2-3 sec draw max of slightly warm, FLAVOR COUNTRY. Seems to make the throat hit appear better too, I haven't coughed on a single carto on 3.7v.

nice, i looked around the forum and this is pretty much the general consensus. 6v with 510 cartomizers apparently is the way to go. ordered everything yesterday, including my chuck!! now its just time to wait

I use nothing but 6v and High Voltage 801 Atomizer w/ 4.5 Resistance. The one I'm using now is over 3 months old and used every day.

From what I've read on other post, and what I know about electricity. Higher resistance on 6 volt drops the heat so its like 2.5 atty at 3.7 volt or closer to it. There a post that gets into more detail, but cant remember off hand.
