20130201_194241.jpg Ok, so i got my order in today from madvapes and i order a brushed sealed 510, and this automatic 510, but i have no idea how to wire it the right way. im sorry for all the newb questions but you guys have been a big big help inmy modding the last couple days. My wife is going to kill me, between vaping, modding, hotwheels collecting, and video games i spend alot of money lol

If i'm not mistaken, that is a vacuum activated switch. red wire gets positive ...white wire gets negative. when you draw on your atty/carto the switch activates. I don't know of many mods with this style switch on it. just the small auto ecigs.
k so if white goes negative then with the black wire conncentrd to it, it would go to the same place right? I thought the white wire would go for an LED but i have no idea im not skilled in elertic stuff just gettin shocked lol

From the product description:
The red wire is for power, the black wire is ground and the white wire is your control wire and activates the blue LED on the circuit board.

Quite literally this is the part to make a 510 auto battery which you can see in the wire lengths. The black wire is partially stripped for soldering the negative in place, or a battery tab in the case of the original. You don't really need the LED in the circuit but it is nice to know when activated as it is an auto switch. Be sure to use a master switch in the mod as the sensor is a small microphone and might activate when not desired, like in the wind, or when using skype. :)

I did not see the black wire, it would make sense for that to be the neg, and the white to be for an LED. but asdaq seems to know more about this than I do.

Huh? I said from the product description. MV of course. :)

I would leave the LED circuit board on it, it is useful even if you stick everything in a box as a diagnostic/safety feature. The black wire has a section stripped of insulation a short ways from the LED so you can solder a wire there for the negative.

If you are sticking this into a box mod, I would place the LED on the inside behind a small hole (1mm or so) so that it doesn't shine all over the place, but that when you simply look at it you can tell if it is firing. Being as it is sound activated, misfiring won't be easy to tell by listening to the atty as ambient noise will be too loud. Just my 2c.
