Greetings, all!

My name is Rob. I have been vaping for 3 or 4 weeks now and quickly kicked a 30 year pipe smoking fetish. I have learned so much (and so fast!) from this forum-thanks to ALL of you!

I having been using a Protank 1 and a Protank 3 on a couple of Ego-type fixed voltage batteries. Yesterday I got a larger capacity (1300) Revolver vv battery and ordered an aerotank base to use with the protanks. For e-juice, I WAS trying whatever I found locally, but have discovered Alice in Vapeland and placed a second largish order tonight, heh heh heh.
I will be getting a Kamry K1000 e-pipe fairly soon. As a longtime pipe smoker, I love the form factor!

My wife also vapes (quitting a 25 year menthol habit cold two months ago), but is content with the strongest menthols she can find (loves the Halo Sub Zero). No other flaves for her, and no desire for new equipment, poor kid.

I am fairly new to Las Vegas, but I lived and LOVED living in Moab, Utah for 17 years. If you ever plan on visiting (and you should-one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Sedona-like, but so much bigger. Vast. Arches and Canyonlands National Parks and much more), shoot me a message. I worked for a long time as a tour guide and love to share tips.

I've only been to Utah a couple of times, just driving through, Kansas to Portland. It was definitely beautiful.
I assume you've seen the e-pipe forum?

Yes, I have! As a n00b, though, I am just going to dip my toes a little with a Kamry (purple!). Maybe in another week or so I'll be hollowing out old pipe bowls, shoehorning in a battery, winding my own coils... LOL! Maybe not THAT soon!

Portland Oregon or Maine? Maine, I've not been. Oregon, though, very pretty! Used to drive truck through there, and my sister lived in Hillsborough for a while. As many shades of green as Utah has of brown!

Nice, I love looking at the pictures on their forum, very interesting. It sure seems once one starts on this journey you just keep going...and going....Some more quickly than others. I'm on the slower side, six months in and am waiting for my first RDAs in the mail.

Oregon. I have not made it to Maine ether. Originally from Missouri, been out here for 13 years, and absolutely love it. Still finding beautiful new places. Early spring is gorgeous...so many flowering trees right now, and petals covering the sidewalks....as long as you can take the rain.

Made my first coil tonight! .8 ohms. 28 gauge kanthal wrapped 8 times around a safety pin. Vapes GREAT!

If you are getting the Kamry K1000,order some good batteries..
the ones that come with it are not very good at all..
I have the black one myself..
get some good 18350..
i would get a few of them since it's a mechanical and vape will diminish as the battery charge does..

it's pretty nice pipe though and really solid..

you could really give someone a headache poppin them in the head with the end of it LOL

Thanks for the links, SV! I have been to epipemods before-most of the pipes are sold out, alas. I did NOT notice their pipe juice before, though, and have bookmarked the page for future purchasing goodness. Mythicalfabrications.com is, financially, going to be outta the ballpark, I fear. Great idea, though!

Since your wife found Sub-Zero from Halo, you might want to try Capt Jack from Halo too.

While i was never a pipe smoker myself, the smell and flavor of it reminded me so much of what my grandfather used to smoke out of his pipe on the porch when I was a kid, I had a bit of a stroll down memory lane, all triggered by the first smell and taste of Capt Jack as I vaped it for the first time.
