I just recently got my second Reo and I opted for another Grand. I gave VV serious consideration but with new sub-ohm kits coming out soon and all, I just figured I'd keep it simple. No battery stacking, no electronics to worry about, plus I can switch doors for a different look.

One things for sure, either way you go, you can't go wrong with Reo. :D

I was just going through the same thought process and decided on another mech. Although changing voltage is sometimes a good thing, rebuilding/ adjusting a coil doesn't really take that long. And I like that everything will interchange between. I never had a VV but ya, the stacking batteries part to me is the game killer.
Just my 2 cents

Since you already have a grand, I'd suggest a VV grand

I like it for several reasons, in no particular order. I'll start by saying if I could only have one REO, it would be a grand (not VV):

1 it's size is great. It's slightly taller than a grand but the same width.
2. The button placement is perfect - trigger finger.
3. The way the button fires is superb - it's done thru electronics so it is either on or off (no firing pin / spring / moving positive contact).
4. No noalox required since the contact doesn't move.
5. The batts last a long time. I vape at a very low setting but also rotate mods though.
6. Every hit is exactly the same right up until the stacked 18350s die. Hard for me to explain but since the chip operates on the combined voltage, the batteries still function perfectly all the way down to each battery hits around 3.7 volts. So even at when they are depleted down to 3.7 each, they are still capable of pumping like 7.4 volts! Try vaping a battery depleted down to 3.7 on your grand - it's starting to taper off once your battery is at that point right?
7. There is allot of space inside the mod for bottle access ease.

I like to twist up a long mucho wrap micro coil for my VVs cause I can crank up the power a little to make em heat up just as fast as a mech with a lower res coil. More wraps = better performance ( if you have the power to heat it )

Something special about being to crank a little wheel from either a nice mellow vape to burn your lungs out :)

There is a flywheel on the electronics under the door. And an on off switch.

I have the same conundrum. I dunno. I'm leaning towards the vv. I really like the thought of a consistent vape. My thought is also if I don't like it, I can probably sell it on the classes for like $20 less than retail and buy another mech.

Or, see if I can wait for the woodvilles... Prolly not haha.

Edit: also I read that you can use an 18650 in them, (just cant go past max output of the batt, so 3.7v(?))

A VV is an elite tool. I'm very happy with both of mine. Great choice :)

I do keep it in dry places and typically opt for a grand when I'm out and about but that's just because I'm overprotective like that. I have read many posts from people who take em everywhere :)
