Since you already have a grand, I'd suggest a VV grand

I like it for several reasons, in no particular order. I'll start by saying if I could only have one REO, it would be a grand (not VV):

Great points you made, I feel the same in general about regulated vaping.

Can you expand on why you would go with a grand (not VV) if you only had one?

I've tried mechs a little, and prefer the stability of a regulated mod. Right now, I can only get 1 REO, so I want to make sure I choose wisely.

Yes, because electronics can fail. Even Rob will tell you that about his mods. I know that with a grand it would take an act of god or shear unadulterated ignorance to render it vapeless. All you need is a couple of extra springs and barring the above, your set for a good long time in any conditions.

With the VV, electronics can fail on their own, water can destroy the electronics, juice (yes, some vapers are very careless with juice) can destroy the electronics, and you can't wash them in the sink.

I have em and I know their limitations and if they fail, they will be sent for rebuild. But the vape is well worth the possible failures as long as you got other REOs to get ya by.

I recommend them without hesitation, but only after you have a grand to keep your vape on :)

That said, I LOVE my VV REOs and have never had an issue with either of them. But I also have the peace of mind knowing I got a couple of grands there to take the rough stuff and get my back when the electronics fail :)

I have a VV Grand and two minis (a 14500 and a 2.1). The minis go everywhere, the VV Grand stays home. Granted, as a trucker I am on the go a lot, the Mortgage still comes due 1st of every month, but even when I'm home I use my minis as much as the VV Grand.
My next REO will be a Woodvil, maybe an 18490 or two. I personally find that the better I get with my coils, the less I need VV.
