Ok, So I have been searching for the past 3 days for batteries for my SB (that will be in the mail tomorrow!) anyways this is by far the most grueling shopping I have ever done. Ok, I want to buy 18650 for 3.7v vaping and some RCR123a 3v for high voltage vaping (main reason why I bought the SB). Anyways I have found some batteries but I have no idea if they are what I need. The hardest part is trying to figure out if the charger and the batteries have protection. Anyways- from past experience I usually found (most times the hard way) that you get what you pay for.

SOOO, I found a great kit that I think I want- They are Tenergy protected 3v but are 750mAh with a protected charger. I must warn you I am mild-severely ......ed when it comes to understand batteries. On my quest I have been searching for cr123a that are 3v 900mAh and protected. Will these 750mAh work for what I want? What does the difference in mAh mean? should I keep looking for 900mAh or will these 750mAh be a good fit for the silver bullet. I think these tenergy 750mAh are used in the prodigy. What do you think- pull the trigger?

Thanks for putting up with all my battery questions- I am broke these days and wanted to find the best battery for the price.

PERFECT- Thats what I wanted to know- I will not be pestering you guys with any more battery questions. Someone else also said that those Tenergy LiPo- last longer than a LiIon would- I am ......ed when it comes to understand batteries and mAh.

Those tenergy are what I am going to buy- just for my general knowlidge
Awesome- Thanks for all the info- Battery shopping has been the most grueling shopping ive ever done.

Lets say that they both are LiIon (same chemical make-up either LiIon or LiPho) mainly comparing the mAh- so basically the mAh has to do with charging- from your answers- they will have very similar performance just one might last longer (charge) than the other?

I pulled the trigger on the (6) Tenergy 3v750mAh LiFePO4 bats and charger kit. They arn't protected though, but says in the description: Never explode or catch fire. So I think I got a good deal- $27 bucks for 6 batteries and a charger to the door plus I wont have to wait a month if I would have bought some from DX and maybe wouldn't have saved that much anyways. Im happy now- sorry for all the battery questions :)

They are semi protected. This means that they have an overcharge protection but they don't have undercharge protection. This means that you can run these past the time the other fully protected ones would cut out. This is not a good thing though. You shouldn't drain a batt or you could damage it. I have these batteries with my Prodigy and they are good batts but I have read a lot of people having trouble with them. I am thinking it is because they run them too long and drain them past the 2.7 v point. So when you notice a drop in vapor just pop them in the charger. They do charge fast too.

You are right about the mAh. This stands for miliamp Hours. Meaning a 750 mAh batt will put out 750 milli amps in an hours time. and a 900 will put out 900... so simply put the 900 will last longer than the 750 will
The advantage of the Lifpoh batt is, they will charge more times than the regular li-Ion. Meaning they will last you longer in life span. So you trade one for the other.

I have had good luck with this brand in my Prodigy so you made a good choice.

Thanks for the tip Vapnaway. Thats the nice thing about the kit I bought I got 6 bats- so as soon as I see a drop in vapor a fresh set will be popped in + these batteries are used in my ar15 tactical light/laser so 2 will go in that and the other 4 for the SB. I was debating of getting cheaper batteries and putting my own battery kit together, it was a pain in the .... All the searching I did though will pay off- I have some good links for battery deals. I finally found a good price on CR123a batteries, but the chargers I found I have no idea if they have any sort of protection on them. So instead I bought that 6 bat/charger tenergy kit from all-battery and hopefully I won't have to wait 2-3 weeks to get them. That was another reason why I went with the kit. If I would have made my own battery kit I would have been buying from 2-3 companies to get what I want. I would have waited forever to save a few bucks. This way I got some good batteries for a decent price and won't have to wait for them to ship from China or wherever. The 18650s I am going to buy next- they prob will come from china but I needed either the 18650s or the cr123s quick so I don't have to wait and just look at my SB- that would have been brutal. These next few days are going to be hard, but the SB is en-route!

Thanks for all the help!
