Hi. Just posting this because someone asked for details on it. Just a simple extension of the CE2 3ml Syringe Mod, really. One thing that I can say for sure, is that you can't count on any uniformity when looking for grommets or syringes that may have worked for someone else, but I happened to have some grommets that worked with some syringes that I bought for e-liquid mixing purposes.
The grommets were from a 31 pc. assorted grommet pack bought in the small parts section of Radio Shack. They were the largest size in there, with approximately 7/16 ID, 1/2 cutout size, and 9/16 OD. The large syringes were from TSC in a box of four 12cc syringes with 20G poly hub luer lock needles branded Producer's Pride. The 3ml syringe was a BD that I bought from one of the vendors here a few months ago. The CE2 was one of the fragile shell versions, but I'm sure the tougher next revision ones work, too.

I cut two cylindrical sections from the 3ml syringe, both around 7/8" long. The 12ml syringe, I cut the tip off of, and drilled the end out with a 1/2" drill, being careful to keep it centered. I used smaller drills and worked up the the 1/2" to accomplish this. This left approximately 1/16" of the angled part of the end as a lip at the end of the cylindrical part of the syringe. One of the grommets is installed onto this lip, with the lip in the groove of the grommet. One of the 3ml syringe sections is installed onto the bottom of the CE2. It could be shorter, but it is more difficult to remove later if so.

The grommets slip right onto the 3ml sections, and also into the 12ml syringe, pretty easily separately. With the grommet wedged between the two, it's a pretty secure fit. I then slip the remaining grommet onto the CE2, flush with the flange, and push the 12ml syringe onto that.

After that, just push the remaining 3ml syringe section into the top grommet, and install whatever inner seal that you prefer to use for your CE2, and a tip. The top grommet, being seated half in as it is, makes it easier to adjust the top tube, but still seals well. Note that I kept the length of the 12ml section short enough to leave the ceramic cup of the CE2 above the top of it. You probably could go a bit longer on it if you wished.

It works well, and holds around 5ml. I don't trust CE2s to be leak free when on their side, though, so I always keep them upright whether I use a tank or not. Looks pretty decent on an eGo battery, too.
