What voltage are you vaping at? What's the resistance of your coil? What kind of liquid are you using?

When I got my MVP I had to play with it a little bit to find the right wattage for different liquids. Most of my liquid tastes a little burned at the full 11W (using Kanger Mini Protank 3, might be using the same coils as you, not sure). Failing that, maybe you just have a bad coil. I haven't had one yet on my Kangers but back when I was using cartomizers every now and then you'd find one that just tasted burned no matter what.

If you are getting a burnt taste (we call those "dry hits"), if usually means your wick cannot pull the eliquid fast enough to keep up with your battery. There are a couple of things you can do:

1. Dial down your voltage. This will vaporize the eliquid at a slower rate (if your battery allows you to do this)
2. Decrease the airflow, if your tank has adjustable airflow. The decrease in airflow will increase vacuum inside the tank's atomizer, which should increase the flow of juice to the wick..
3. Take a sharp draw (or two) on your drip tip (without engaging your battery). This will pull more eliquid into the coil so that it will be available when you press the battery button and take a draw.

You will get the feel of this over time and develop a sense of how often you will need to do this to avoid "dry hits". The PG/VG ratio of your eliquid also comes into play, as VG is thicker than PG . If you use high VG try adding a few drops of distilled water to your tank to thin out the eliquid. You could also install a higher ohm coil.

Kanger MT3 clone (not the new MT3S) also not sure how many oHms the coil is
Cinnamon 18 nicotine (50/50 but have added couple drops of water)

The airholes are super tiny on the tank too and they're not adjustable. I was trying to find like a 3.2 oHm coil but kanger updated the mt3 and the t3 so I'm not sure if they sell the old coils anymore

You really need to know what resistance your coil is. If you don't, and the vape feels too hot (dry hits), just turn the voltage down. MT3 is a single coil atty and really can't take very high voltages.

Next time, get original Kanger coils--they have resistance (ohms) stamped on the base. You also should probably invest in a multimeter or get a battery with a built-in ohms reader some time in the future.

Good luck.
