Hi all, been trolling these boards for awhile, figured I should start throwing up some posts to get out of newbie status so I can post/add to a real thread when I need to. About me: Been vaping for 5 weeks - even with the knock-off kit at the corner tobacco store, I immediately cut my smoking from 2 packs to 1/2 pack a day. Then I trashed that kit (metallic taste on all cartos) and bought a 901 and SafeCig/Smokestik mini (don't really like the 901, too much topping off to do, and the hit seems a bit harsh- cartomizers seem to work better for me) - now down to 3-5 cigs a day. Will probably look at another model after I recoup my investment on this other stuff-which shouldn't take long. Have a nice little tacklebox set up now, complete with many of the BWB juices, requisite tweezers, paperclips, labelled slots for the carto flavors... and papertowels, lol. USB cig charger in every open port on my PC. I still have 1/2 carton of analogs in my freezer I'm trying to get rid of - at the rate my smoking is decreasing, it might be Halloween before I'm totally done with those. So, I think I'm hooked - now just watching the whole FDA thing play out, hoping my replacement addiction won't be taken away or get taxed to death. The nice thing is, didn't even have to force myself to reduce the analogs - I smoke/vape whatever I feel like, and it is just happening on its own. Which is good, since I have almost zero willpower when it comes to denying myself pleasure. House and car smell great now, and probably my breath too. Geez, I prolly should have split this post up a bit to get my count up... nothing left to say now. Nice to meet you all, I appreciate all the great info here. Definitely one of my daily web reads.

Welcome to ECF and great job on vaping. I also started vaping just to cut down on analogs then it seemed I was down to just a few a day and thought what the heck, I will try and go a day without the analogs and see what happens. First one in the morning was the tough one but I thought well I will vape for half an hour and if I still want one I will have it, but after I vaped for few minutes the urge was gone. Now it has been over 2 weeks and don't need them, gave away all but one pack I had open in my purse. It is still sitting in there just for me to know that I don't need one. I love vaping and upgraded yesterday to the eGo and I am in love with it, the flavor and vapor is amazing. I just got my tackle box yesterday and it is fully stocked so I know I am all set and won't need those analogs sitting in my purse.

Happy vaping!!!!!

Hi Golson and welcome to the forum. I was hooked on vaping as soon as I started and havent had an analog since about day 3 of vaping. I now find them disgusting! I have 2 eGos and highly recommend them to you. I also have a mega drip stick from Vaporheads which is basically a mega 510 battery but it really is an awesome device for me.
Happy vaping and congrats on the major reduction of tobacco.
