"Stan Glantz has accused electronic cigarette companies of orchestrating a campaign of support for these products by several "right-wing think tanks," as he calls them. These think tanks include the Heartland Institute, the Competitive Enterprise Institute, the CATO Institute, and the National Center for Public Policy Research."

Liberals - some knowingly (iow, they lie about it), most unknowingly (iow, they don't have a clue).... conflate 'right wing' with libertarian. They're finally catching on to the fact that libertarians are their true enemy, not Republicans. Libertarians want less gov't. Republicans (with a few noted exceptions) want to manage big gov't better than Democrats do.

Well of course Slantzz has to accuse Big Vapor (love that!) of orchestrating support! His psychotic prohibitionist worldview can't admit any facts that don't agree with his ideology. How long before the media realize he's gone round the bend and stop quoting his rants?

Not gonna happen. Major Media = Stantzz = (fill in the blank).

I read this and see it as a way to sow the seed of doubt about ACSH's motives. They are lumped in at the very end after all those polarizing examples, yet nothing is presented to show that ACSH is one of them. They are just tossed in conveniently at the end to be the last thing people read.

And of course libertarians are their true enemy. It's a party of citizens thinking for themselves.

WOW! We have the Tea Party on our side now? That is excellent news! It means, next time a bill on ecigs comes up in Congress, they'll shut down the gov't rather than vote on it.:vapor:

While we're on the topic, here's an article about Liberal Elitism being the source of all evil:
