Hello to all!

I posted on my first day how happy I was with my new ecig setup that my friend helped me pick out. She also supplied me with several juices to try, and I'm loving one of the Cigar flavors. Full, strong, and fantastic after a meal, or in the morning. I haven't wanted an analogue in over two weeks, and feel very sure that I won't. I'm a committed ex-smoker.

I am; however, having a problem and I don't know what to attribute it to. Let me start by saying that last Monday (the 23rd) I had some pretty major oral surgery. The dentist prescribed very heavy pain medication after the surgery, and I'm taking it in a dosage that is about half the maximum dosage. In other words, I'm taking it easy with that stuff. It's potent.

Now to my problem. I'm having a huge problem sleeping. I've been up since midnight the past two nights, and feel like I could sleep for weeks, but as soon as I drift off, I awake with a start. I'm just wondering if anyone has had any problems with insomnia due to the nicotine intake, or should I attribute it to the surgery and pain meds. I'm in no pain whatsoever(by using the pain meds), so I really can't understand why that could be an issue.

Gotta give props to my girl that got me fixed up with my V-3. She helped me dodge a lot of the pitfalls that are out there, got me vaping, supported me while I tossed the analogues, and has been there for me. She's a member of this forum but I don't know her user name. I'm going to have to ask her. Anyway, I'd still be spending money like hell and puffing away on a smoke if it weren't for her and her support.

Thanks in advance for any help to all you fine ladies and gentlemen out there.j

I have to take pain meds on occasion, and I know one type I have been prescribed has done the same thing that yours has to you. You feel super tired, yet can't sleep for more than a couple of hours at a time. I doubt it's the ecig...probably the meds.
Same here. Pain meds give me anxiety-like issues at night. They definitely keep me up. Maybe lowering the dose or switching to ibuprofen might help.
