I'd venture to say that it's probably your 510 adapter that's at fault. I've ordered several of these and had very little luck with them. There's just not enough airflow. I finally broke down and got an actual KR808D battery setup and it's leagues better! So I now had a benchmark to gauge from. Good airflow and could closely examine the air holes in the connector on a factory KR808D.
I then took my 510 adapter and a pin vise(tiny drill bit) and proceeded to carefully hand drill my holes to exactly match the factory KR808D connector. Popped it on my Silver Bullet, loaded a carto and wow! It works just fine! It's not 100% as good as the factory battery..but I'd give it 95% anyway. The air holes are key to it working properly.
PS: if you wanna try the pin vise..you can usually find them in model/hobby shops. Costs about $5-10 for a decent one and will come with a pins. Also Harbor Freight sells them too. It's becoming a very handy little tool.
