Help with refilling cartomizers!

Hey guys, I just got my V4L Vapor Titan 2 days ago and when I use a carto that I've refilled with Johnson's Creek smoke juice, I have to hit it really long to get much vapor at all. Then after a bit I get barely get any vapor at all. I've watched quite a few videos on how to refill cartos. I use the condom method where I fill the rubber cap about half full and slowly press the carto down to absorb the juice. I've tried using the mouth end as one video showed and I've tried using the battery end as another showed but i still get the same results.

Does this sound like something anyone has run into before? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong because I screwed in a fresh pre filled carto and its vaping just fine. I just ordered a manual battery too thinking maybe that automatic battery thinking it may work better for me.

I'm starting to feel like i wasted my money on this e-cig but so far i can't find any negative reviews on V4L products and their customer service is amazing so it must be something that I'm doing wrong.

Someone please help this noob out.

Half a cap doesn't sound full enough.

You're doing good if you're not burning it tho. I can't see an auto making this easier, it seems to be a carto problem.

So perhaps when it starts bubbling at the top when i refill it, i should let it set for awhile and fill it some more?

Just to clarify, I'm using V4L CoolCarts

Sounds good. Or vape it while it's working, and stop and add more later.

Have you blown it out good? Dry off the battery post?

I used the CoolCarts and didn't get as much vapor from them as I did with other carts. I also tried the condom method but settled on putting an empty one on the bottom and dripping in the top to fill until it looked slightly slushy on top. Then I waited about 15 minutes before using and the vapor was alll right.
VAPE ON!!

Yep, I agree with r77r7r. At first I was really careful with how I filled up cartos so I wouldn't 'ruin it'. Heh. Fill that carto boot about 3/4 way full and slowly push the carto in until the fluid comes out the air tube and lightly pools but don't let it get to close to the top edge. Let it sit for a bit in the boot, pull the boot off and it will suck a lot of the juice back down the tube. Wipe the carto off, give a quick blow on the mouthpiece end into a paper towel, and then give it a few light draws until quiet. Wipe the battery end off a bit and have at it. This method works the best with a new carto. When refilling, just use less juice in the boot and let it pool slightly again. You'll get the gist of it.

If the hit isn't right after that, then I would start checking out some of the different cartos available. I haven't used the CoolCarts, so I can't comment on the performance or quality, but the Boges are surefire. Hope this helps.

I have a video on YouTube that teaches how to fill a carto. it shows how to get more juice in them. If you are using high vg juice, it takes a little longer. Also, v4l use vertical coils so make sure you fill them all the way and keep them topped off.

You can also use smokeless image cartos on the v4l batteries. They are bottom coil so don't burn as easy and are a little cheaper. You can also use bottom coil ce3's on them. Currently gotvapes sells those as a Phoenix and smokeless image is supposed to have them by Thursday night or Friday. They will probably be cheaper a SI.

there a vid on youtube which uses a modded syringe with a 'long condom'attached with super glue The condom that comes with the carts that is lol). Once you modded the syringe you just pop cart's onto the condom, place other end of cart into a bit of juice and pull up with the srynge, it draws juice right up there in no time. You can fill about 5 carts in a few minutes.

To mod the condom you cut one end off, place it onto the end of a syringe (with no needle) with glue. The condom basicall become like a plastic sock, one end fitted onto syringe and onto the other end you can pop your carts on and off. This creates an airtight method so that you can draw juice right up into the cart.
