I'm a 510 guy so I'm glad to see David offer the precise 510 adapters.
Thats all I use is 510's so I guess I'm lucky.
making only 1 style of adapter prob. keeps the costs down though.

But... I do understand that those little 510 to 901 adapters can be annoying.
I dislike using those.

i think david should offer the 901 and 801 as well on the precise 16 & 18.

I've been toying (in my head) with some recessed top designs for 901 and 801 atomizers. The key is i want to keep them a one piece design machined from a solid piece of stainless steel like my 510's Precise caps are, it's one of the things that differentiates my design from many of the competitors, so we'll see what i can come up with.

thx david! one thing that i'd like to take advantage of is the juice well aspect and with the adapter i don't think it makes use of it.

it could be my 901's (RN and LR), but they seem to be holding juice down near the air hole of the atty. when i blow out through the battery end of the atty, i get drenched in juice out the air hole. I'm not sure if the air flow through the 510 to 901 adapter is causing it or not.

i'll blow everything out and start over, but a few drips sessions later, i'm back to flooding of the lower part of the atty.

adapters are a royal pita that's for sure.

I have not seen one either. I would guess that they would be a PITA to get out of the atomizer because of the way they are made. You know how the 801 has that outer part that goes over the battery (On a standard 801 batt). You have to remember that China does not make mods and they make these adapters for their ecig batteries ....... The one 801 adapter I own is a 901-801 and with this short adapter it ends up almost flush only showing a little of the adapter.

that is a different adapter. i agree it could be a problem unscrewing it out of the recessed hole. i tighten mine down and slightly back it out a hair to get better airflow and not damage anything. I don't mind the profile of the adapter at all. i'm not too fussy lol.

one thing i will say is, other than doing more blowing out of the atty, i have zero other troubleshooting issues which is amazing! i'm so glad to have the precise. low tech, well made, and it gets the job done with no fuss or failure :toast:
