Any difference in maintenance for rarely used atomizer?

I mostly use cartos day-to-day, but have a good atomizer for dripping for trying new flavors or for a taste of rarely-used liquids. Is there any particular maintenance strategy that would be different than usual for an atty that tends to sit unused for a week or two at a time?

If you only use it sparingly then you don't have to clean it as much. Unless you notice a little drop in performance. The normal isopropyl alcohol/water rinse method works great on them. So, no there's no special strategy in cleaning them.

I keep an atty around for similar reasons (have several but only one currently that's been used) - I try to rinse it in alcohol now and then (when it goes unused.) Depends on how much I use it.
