So I got my first drip/atty set today from LF and it is the eGo kit they had a sale on last week. Charged the batteries and all, which I already knew since I have been vaping cartomizers 808s for a year now. But here are my issues below and I know they are all connected...

This is with 3 drops through the drip tip onto a regular 510 atty/eGo battery...
- Only getting like 5 big hits before taste runs out
- Half or more of the liquid is coming out the bottom of the atty onto the battery
- The taste of my juice is blandish, like cherry tasted like vanilla and RY4 tasted like vanilla (did not use any vanilla juice)
- There is no pop/crackle/cooking noise at all, just silence when I vape it (is this normal?)
+ BUT it is producing vapor like a diesel engine on a cold morning! :vapor:

Any help would be great!

Atty's kind of have to break in the first couple of days so you might not get the flavors quite right yet. Also your juices may need to steep if you just got them, if it is all the juice you have vape what tastes best. As far as leaking, are you using the cone? If you are the cone should be holding onto the juice so it doesn't leak out. 2 to 3 drips is the right amount to drip so don't know why you are getting leaks.

Well yea the cone holds it in, but it holds it on the bottom of the atty/battery connection, I would just have thought this was a "bad" thing to let happen, since there is no way that liquid down there is going to travel back up and get vaped.

I did get some new liquid in on the order, but I also have liquid from 3 months or older and all are the same, I hope you are right and it gets better in a couple days, cause this this is just to cool looking not to work great!

Thank you for your help Lisa, have a nice upcoming Turkey Day!

I have some atty's that leak like a hose and others that don't leak at all, most of mine do to some degree, I just wipe it down when I change the battery. I'm no expert but I'm thinking this is a 510 thing, but I'm just guessing. If you are dripping try removing the bridge.... WOW

Ehh I like my 2 month warranty on my attys, I'm pretty sure that would throw it out the window :p But just so I know for future reference what is removing the bridge?

Atties come with a primer on them too. Many people like to blow out the primer before use, others vape through it. I have noticed, it can take upwards of a day or 2 for that primer taste to disappear.

I cant lend much advice on dripping though. I'm a carto user. We are now stocking BOGE cartomizers for the 510, 4081, and 808d-1. I highly recommend them!
