there's some 4 digit number PP requires you to key in to get PP verified. it'll be reflected on your credit or debit card statement but you can call the bank to ask them for it.

I don't really participate in the Classifieds since I don't use Paypal on principle, but I sure enjoyed reading them for entertainment. I found it useful to watch ecig used values and what people were unloading. It seems a bit much to get verified just to read the classifieds and how the heck will new members even know what they are missing.

Things must have gotten pretty bad to impose such stringent controls on just reading them.

Perhaps some rule like verified members can post and normal members can view (cant post)?

If not, what is the use of classified section? Newbie cannot find the goods they are looking for and will look elsewhere or give up vaping. Verified "old birds" members trading ego battery with another ego battery?

The rule of newspaper advertisement. Expensive to post, cheap to read.

My 2 cents worth.

Many have mentioned the un-verified to be able to view but you have to remember, safety is a two way street. I want to protect buyer and seller. If you sell to someone who is unverified, you would be taking a chance. If they scam you, there would be nothing I could do to help you recover your money or device. Wouldn't you want your buyer to be required to follow the same steps you followed to be able to use the Classifieds? If they could view, all they have to do is send you a PM, make the purchase, if they can't view, then they can't do this.Like I said, it's meant to protect both sides of the transaction, not just half of it. If we only did half, we really wouldn't have accomplished much.

As far as new members go, there are plenty of new members who have fulfilled the requirements and became verified.

It happened to me to, one day just not being able to view classifieds. Scour around a bit, found the verification process through reposts of some members.

Luckily it is so that my email used was the same as my paypal account, hence lesser hassle. I would be going ... if i had to recreate another account in accordance to the one corresponding to my PP account and then going through the posting process once again before being able to get verified. I guess if this happened to some others, and if they're not that desperate wanting to know whats in store for them at the classifieds(as they have not seen the prices/good stuff) they might be just put off from the entire whole process, and probably use this forum like i do, information hub. I for one prefer stalking around, looking for my answers in threads, rather than reposting a previously resolved issues to avoid sounding like a "newbie".
Which means its gonna be bad for me racking up post counts. lol.

That said, the safety aspects as to linking/verifying via paypal since its for both parties protection, i guess its logical. More hassle, more safety. puts off people who's just trying to make a quick buck. I see what you did there mods. LOL

well, i can suggest u that the lavatube is better than ego vv. lava is a quite big compare to ego. but once your ego batt dead, it's gone for good.

U mean that Ego's batts can't be changed? From what I see on YouTube videos, they both are rechargeable. Unless u r saying I can get add on batts for Lavatube.

the ego batt is basically a batt itself, its built in. but once spoil or reach its life cycle, it will be dead. at least lavatube you can swap the batt around shall it fail

there're choices of whether they act as a pass-thru or not.
