There are discussions about vape stands with pictures around, I'm just not sure where.

As for mods, get the size and shape of all you have and rout out holes. You may bit be able to do this with just drill bits. For things like coils I'd get a small box (like a pill box) and then rout out a space for the box. Or just rout out a shallow dish for the coils.

What material do you wish to use to build this stand? My advice would be wood, but thats cause I think it looks classier that way.

What kind of mods? A Dremel would probably do the trick

Are you talking prefab coils? For those I would leave them in the sealed packing until its time for use. No need to chance conatminating them in any way. If you want a spot for the box then I say dremel again.

For the Drip tips, I recommend taking one to the hardware store showing them the size you want to drill out and then getting the appropriate drill bit.

Juices always look really nice on(for lack of better term) stairway stands. You could route out little shallow circles for them to sit in but its your stand and your call.

Assuming you wish to build in wood, and that you do not have a set, I'd look for appropriate sizes of Forstner bits as these leave a much nicer hole in wood than regular twist bits. The thread spec for 510 coil studs is M7 x .5 mm. And a 510 drip tip measures 8.55mm below the o-ring.

I got 2 pieces of 3/4x2 oak and glued them together, routed the edges and used a 1" spade bit to bore out the holes. It will even hold my subtank plus.

This is a little atty rack I built. Nothing much to it, the stick is a piece of Birch trim I had made for some cabinet fronts and had a few feet left over. I just bored holes in it on 1" centers, I think a 3/8" drill bit, but anything that'll fit a 510 connector. They don't thread in, so if you bump it they'll all fall over. I ordered a M7 x .5mm tap several months ago. Just as soon as I get my roundtuit all polished up, I'm gonna snag a piece of aluminum flat bar and bore some holes in it and tap them, then polish it and mount it on a piece of wood for an atty rack.
