Any interest in a DIY challenge?

Im not sure this would work because it seems like a lot of DIYers want to keep their potions a secret, but I thought it might be interesting to post a juice Flavor each month for us DIYers to attempt to create???

For instance, April's juice Flavor would be Butterfinger, and in that thread we would all post our recipes for it. Then we could all attempt each other's recipes and provide constructive critiicism to improve upon them? Maybe by the end of the month we would have created a holy grail Butterfinger juice?

DIY has become my latest hobby for the past couple of months so I apologize in advance if this sounds real dorky.

just started vaping about a month and half ago, and also started making my own liquid, i would love to participate.

one question though, does anyone have a recipe for newport or something that comes close to it, or can i just use some menthol crystals and that will give me the same flavor

Haven't tried menthol in DIY.

After trying so-called menthol flavors in pre-made juices from a few vendors it is evident menthol = toothpaste tasting vapes to my tastebuds.

Have wondered if DIY menthol tastes different. Am interested in the menthol replies.

Haha yeah, I wasn't going to be the one to say it. I'm not going to be the one to mix up a bunch of recipes to judge either =)

i just recieved my lorann juices, just made my first mix, dont have the menthol crystals yet, but soon, i thought i would share the recipe that i just made.

5 ml mix 14mg nic
3 mi of nic juice
1 ml of vg
1 ml of flavorings, 20 drops
Blueberry 6 drops
watermelon 6 drops
lemonade 4 drops
pineapple 4 drops

man that tastes good

couldnt wait to steep the juice, but am now

You have to mix the recipes up yourself and be your own judge- and then share your judgments!

Side note, I can't participate in the Menthol Recipe because it makes me ill- however, I KNOW us ECFer's do need a good menthol as I see it posted all the time.

I have flavour ideas for themes like tropical flavours, bar flavours, dairy queen, 31 flavours B&R, and when you all get tehm all done send them to me hehehe

Here is a recipe I found on the net- I have not tried it:

First, I prepare these 2-3 dilutions and put aside for several recipe mixes

Tobacco Absolute Dilution:
Dilute Tobacco Absolute oil in purest alcohol available or PG

FINAL MIX makes 15ml

Unflavored E-JUICE (if no nic , just use VG or PG)
15 ml

DILUTED Tobacco Absolute :
6 drops / 15ml

CONCENTRATED MENTHOL MIX (optional) :
1 drop/15ml

ETHYL MALTOL :
a pinch /15 ml

1 drop TA / 2ml alcohol

Menthol Concentrated mix:
Dissolve Menthol crystal in purest alcohol available - to be used with caution as very potent
25% in 75% Everclear

SHAKE the final mix and leave overnite for the ethyl maltol to dissolve further.

Note: I prepare for max a week's use to make sure the flavor is fresh..
If you prefer a harsher tobacco taste, add more of the diluted TA drops
If you prefer slightly sweeter taste or need to soften the harshness of TA, add more Ethyl Maltol
The Concentrated Menthol mix is optional and is used to freshen the mix

I am trying to make this too.

I tried to mix a cherry lemonade last night. Not bad at all, but not quite there yet. Letting it steep today.

I am hoping to find the time this weekend to try a couple of cherry flavorings I have with some key lime pie flavoring I have and see what happens. If I get anything good I'll post it.

I read somewhere that your cherry lime stuff needs either Red Bull or Champagne... I can't remember which.

Figures..I don't have either of those flavorings. Am still going to try hopefully this weekend and see how it tastes. Can;t imagine Red Bull would be to my liking but perhaps a champagne flavor to lighten it up.
