I am running an mt3 1.8ohm on an ego twist (900mah?). Flood flood flood flood!!! That's all I get is flood. Any tips on how to combat this? I've tried higher volt and lower volt. Loosening the threads and tightening. Smoother draw and stiffer draw. I have a pretty natural stiff draw (cartos work great for me) but I wanted to "expand my horizons". It's just leaving me frustrated with atomizers in general.

I got 2 mT3's - 1 was DOA and the other is ok but definitely not my favorite tank.

Willing to bet your center post needs to be pulled down a touch. I have a dozen T3's, over 30 Kangers in total. Some need the post adjusted to contact the battery center pin, but NONE have ever been duds. No Kanger replacement wicks have EVER been duds in my purchases. YMMV

Op, what eliquid are you using? pg/vg blend?
Have you removed any flavor wicks?
Have you inspected the Wick coil Fit?

Wicks are hand assembled and can have alignment issues. Remove the base and look at the coil/wick from each side. There should be NO SPACE into the pipe around the wick. i.e. it must fill the gap. Fluff if needed or wiggle/pull the pipe over the wick off and inspect/correct to center all wicks(1 coiled, 2 flavor on top of coiled)
T3's rarely leak. Can happen but always a clear reason - once you understand tank function.

Also inspect tank for any sign of cracks. Air in = liquid out:ohmy:

I did pull the base off, and then the center post. When I pulled the flavor wicks, because I did notice that one side was flimsy compared to the other, I pulled all of the wicks out on accident. Couldn't get the wick back through the coils so it got trashed. I will remember all these tips though. I plan on buying a new head but with higher ohms.

I don't have an mt3. I'm currently using a protankII mini on my twist. I just looked up the mt3 at myvaporstore.com. It said if yours is leaking badly, more than likely the head is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps.

Are you satisfied with your setup? I've been considering the same one. Is the ProtankII the only clearo you've tried? Can the tip be changed? Thanks!

The flavour wicks may have been placed out of position. They should seal up the gaps between the shaft and the coil. Sucking/drawing too hard may have caused them to be dislodged slightly.

Take your mt3 head and look at the centre shaft and the flavour wick. There shouldn't be any gaps. If there are, you'll have to adjust or even add in a flavour wick. If you do not have any silica, you can use strerile cotton.

May take a bit of trial and error to find how much to add, but when you get the hang of it, you're set. No more leaks ever.

If you do decide to recoil, it will also take a bit of experimentation to find the best coiling method/materials to use that suits you. Remember, what works for one may not work for you. Keep an open mind. What works for me is a microcoil with cotton and a single 2mm ekowool as flavour wick. No leaks for me. no dry hits

Personally I have bought many Kangar products , including the MT3S and don't like any of them...seems like every product they make has some issue or another..but that's just me and my thoughts..just like I don't like any Ford vehicles, and prefer GMC..we all have our opinions and preferences....
