I have two MT3's and i vape mostly VG, Never liked the Pg stuff. Being a VG Vaper i know that most devices hate me. I hate them too LOL. So i was delighted to know that The MT3 is such a champ in this department that i wont look at any other device until i know for sure it can handle thick juice well.

That being said thick all VG juice will clog everything you have so much faster. Both MT3's lasted me 12 days until they needed a new head or a cleaning. After watching this awesome re-wicking video of a fellow T3 fan Kanger T3 Rebuild - YouTube
I decided i might rebuild mine as well. I didn't have the tools to do so; however, the video shows the inside of the t3 and that lead me to cleaning it. It now vapes like NEW!

Tools:needle nose pliers and an alcohol bath(that's it)

Step 1. Pull small rubber condom off the post and pull out the main post with pliers.

Step 2. Put the head into a alcohol bath and take out the 2 resting fibers on top of the coil(note the position of the resting ribers, let the them soak for a while.(there are 2 loose fibers sitting above the coil.)

Step 3. Giving a generous amount of soak time, check up on the head. Taking your pliers tap the fibers to see if any of the gunk will come off. Also tap the coil(lightly) and some gunk will just fling off on its own. Make sure to not pull apart the loose fibers so tap lightly as well.

Step 4. once you notice that the coil fibers and the resting fibers are all close to white again. "Close being as close as you can get them" Take out and dry your head and give a few dry burns... light ones. Don't over do this, this will burn off any residuals on the coil. Put the resting fibers back in the same position you found them. (Mine were sitting side by side)
put the post back on and the rubber piece. I slowly dry burned until the wicks were close to dry, on the safe side of things you can wait for them to dry.

Step 5. VAPE! it may take a second for it to get back into high vaping order. The flavor and vapor will be muted for the first 7-10 draws but it should come back. Since the T3's have such good flavor and vapor.

ENJOY!

Bucky I do the same thing and just water works. However after a week I soak it in alcohol for a couple hours then rinse n do a full air dry. Also, if your using vg (or pg) and you find your getting burnt taste do this (I would do this anyway)... Take the little rubber grommet that slides up the post (the only piece you can easily remove) and flip it upside down..when you put the tank back on that grommet will still seal but will allow more juice to flow into the wick...since doing this I get tons more vapor and no burnt taste at all. It def works wonders!!
