to sum up:

-we dont eat right
-we dont sleep
-we work too hard
-we stress too much
-we dont have sufficient releases in life to generate eustress, much less time to do it

That, and (almost) nobody knows how to save. Everyone spends and accumulates debt to keep up with everyone else. God forbid you be the only one on the block without an iPod! We believe we deserve all of these things so we spend beyond our means to attain them. And we wonder why this country is going down the sh!tter. I'll end my rant here. Sorry to go off topic.

Sorry I know this thread is a couple of weeks old but I wanted to add a few things.

First, I think its crazy that these are the same people we're about to let run our health care system. Wake up America. Guess what happens when you're a smoker/esmoker under government run health care and you have health issues? They laugh as they tell you "Well we told you it wasn't healthy and you did it anyway, so we're not covering it." Most people you talk to in countries with gov. run healthcare that have actually had to use it will tell you - government will do/say anything to try and get out of covering you. Thats one of the reasons why so many people from Europe and Canada come here for their medical needs.

Second, to the fellow that blames our system's problems on hospitals and insurance companies. You couldn't be more wrong. Do you want to know why our health costs are so high? It's because we've become such a sue happy society. Like another poster said earlier in the thread, it's gotten to the point where people will sue a doctor even if he did everything absolutley perfectly. My father is a medical malpractice attorney - he defends the doctors. Its to the point now that for every 100 or so cases, 1 or 2 of them are actually valid. Living in New Orleans, I get to see first hand why our costs are so high. There are people here that will go to a doctor with the sole intention of finding something to sue for. These are the same people that haven't worked a day in their lives, never paid a cent in income tax, and complain that they need us to pay for their health care. These are the same people that have as many babies as they can because they know it increases their welfare checks. I've lived in this my whole life so please don't try to defend these people if you've never witnessed it first hand. (like people defending the folks looting saks after katrina saying "these poor people have never owned a pair of jeans before") I think if we put more of an emphasis on personal responsibility, a lot of things would change for the better.

Third, Parked I'm brand new to esmoking - waiting for my 510 to come in the mail. I think I'm gonna have to start ordering from you from now on. You seem like a very intelligent guy. Keep up the video reviews.

P.S. I've e-mailed Hannity, Beck, and Rush about the issue - maybe if enough people do they will actually give the issue the coverage it deserves.
