My wife and I will be passing by Mountain Oak Vapors in a couple of weeks, and I'd like to stop in if there's time. Does anyone have an absolute favorite, "Must Have" type of e-liquid from Mountain Oak? I've read a lot of reviews and have a lot of things in mind for both of us, but I know I'll get sensory overload after sampling more than a couple of flavors and would like to have a priority list.

If it helps, my wife loves fruit flavors and some mild tobacco-ish e-liquids (Marlboro replacements). I'm more of a fan of non-sweet coffee, some bakery, and probably a few medium tobacco flavors. I don't think I like the pipe tobacco types (yet?), but I'm open to trying anything outside of the ever-popular crab juice.

Thanks!

ETA: We're both about three months into vaping, and neither one of us has fully recovered our sense of taste. I don't know if that's relevant or not, but I'd guess it makes a difference if the e-liquid depends on really subtle hints of flavor for success.

I highly suggest you both try Pendragon. It's at a medium tobacco strength that I think would also work for wife who like mild-ish tobacco. It's an extracted tobacco, like all from their Gold Label line. Has some subtle hints of cherry and vanilla. Your wife may like HEY JACK, which is a mild tobacco with a good maple flavor. I'd also suggest you both try at the store a quick vape of Apache. It's a strong tobacco, maybe too aggressive for you to buy, but it'll be an experience. Kind of tobacco vape that'll have you saying.. I didn't know juice could to THAT! Southern Gentleman may be a good fit for a solid medium tobacco.

I've tried a lot of MOV's liquids and they are all good. If I had to pick i'd say,

For the fruit flavors: Nirvana, Shangri-la, and Tropical Sunrise.

For the Tobacco flavors: Hey Jack, Smoky mountain 555, and sunday morning

For the Dessert: Vanilla Dream, Double Barrel, and caramela

These are my preferences, but my advice is "If it looks good try it".

Are their flavors comparable to say mt baker with added flavor? My taste buds suck, and regular ejuice flavors are muted to me.

MOV is in a completely different league than MountBaker, theres really no comparison that works.... but yes, the flavors are pronounced and you will be able to taste them.

Lawl. MBV flavors are so watered down and have a funky chemical taste to them.
MOV's flavors are a world of difference. The Red Drop is very crisp and clean tasting, its amazing really.
Their cararmela is damn good, the caramel is so smooth. Its primarily caramel though, the apple is very subtle. Its an extremely sweet vape so I can't vape it for more than a few minutes without growing tired of it but its delicious. The apple took several weeks of steeping to even taste.
Devlish Delight I didn't care a lot for.

Those are the 3 I tried but I'm really interested in Double Barrel, Heavenly Seven, Mountain Mist and Happy Farmer..maybe Grape Medley as well. Oh and Nirvana.

Their Full Virginia Flake RY4 is very good. But my favorites are Cinnamon Swirl, Blueberry Pancake, and Shangri La (peach). Not sure, though, why you're making a list, every flavor they have is out for in-store sampling, and they're very helpful answering questions.

I'm getting the list together 'cause I know my taste buds will be fried after the first five or six samples. Not that I'll stop sampling or anything

I just recently got an order for Mountain Oak Vapors and noticed they doing something different now. Used to it would have the DOB date on the bottle. Now its says Bottled on date. I then looked at the website and it stated that they make theirs up in large batches now but do no keep them more then 4 weeks.

It just don't taste the same to me. I guess because before mine never lasted that long. I don't know weather its a good or bad thing but its good if you are in a fix and need something right away I suppose.

On our way north, my wife and I dropped in last Saturday and had a tasting session. We walked out with 6-30ml bottles:
Red Drop
Blue Drop
Nirvana
Blue Ridge
Coffee & Cream
Classic CountRY4

The Red & Blue Drop flavors are certainly in-your-face e-liquids. Tons of flavor and good vapor. Our bottles seem to have a little more limeaid than the floor samples; that's a little disappointing but may change with a bit of aging. We'll see. In any case, they're both refreshing for about five draws, and then I've got to put them down. My wife is a bit more fond of them and can happily puff on either one for quite a while.

Nirvana: It's a pretty nice fruit vape. It's a good break from my normal choices, but it's not going to be an ADV for me. My wife, however, really likes it and has it in her daily rotation.

Blue Ridge: This is my favorite of the bunch. It's a nice, mellow tobacco with blueberry. IMO, the blueberry is a little too artificial or candy-like in flavor. When I say a little, I really do mean just a touch; it's not enough to put me off. I've had it in my rotation every day since we bought it and will probably order some more when it's gone.

Coffee & Cream: Just like the name says, it's coffee with cream. It's a pretty realistic coffee flavor, slightly heavy on the cream. I don't love this one right now, but it's got the potential to grow on me.

Classic CountRY4: Huh. Until now, the only RY4 I've had has been a DIY using TFA RY4Double. This is nowhere near the same animal. In fact, it's not even in the same zoo. I really don't know what to think about this one. I'm going to have to sit on my review of this e-liquid for a bit while both the juice and my taste buds mature.

Other trials:
Pendragon was a distinct possibility; I'm starting to wish I had bought a bottle, and will probably order it when I buy some more Blue Ridge.
Shangri-La was another one my wife loved and I liked; it's likely to make the next order list as well.
Gold label NETs: way over the top for me. I'm glad I tried a few of them, but won't likely try them again unless I pass by their store.

All in all we had a great experience with MOV. Some tasty e-liquid and a great staff made our stop worthwhile.
Thanks to all for your recommendations!
