Mountain Oak Vapors, what is that flavor?

I got the tobacco sampler from Mountain Oak Vapors the other day. The first day, I found their flavors very interesting with a very unique flavor backbone to all the tobacco juices, good stuff although not an "oh wow, this is great!". After vaping away on the sampler a few days it has now become an "oh wow this is great!" base flavor. My question is, what is that flavor in the background of all their tobacco vapes? I can't seem to nail it down, it's very unique to anything I've tried.

I hear ya, that background flavor becomes addictive! I like it very much! Not sure what it is though.

Yeah, I agree the countrRY4 is very good. From the looks of all my sampler bottles, it appears I enjoy MOV Gold and Smooth and Mild the most. Smoky Mountain 555 is pretty tasty as well....hell, all of them are. Even as weird as blueberry tobacco sounds, their Blue Ridge is pretty awesome. I had real blueberries this morning for breakfast and took a vape of that right after and could tell no difference in the taste of real blueberries vs. the vape. Just that base flavor...man it's got me wondering.

I find it funny that MOV's tobacco base tastes to me like stale cola. I also detect some kind of "cold shot" in there, which minimizes the TH. But as we all know, tastes are subjective. I'm glad you enjoy it though

I took a wild shot in the dark at this very issue on another thread. I too notice that musky, almost savoury undertone to their tobaccos.

My guess? Cumin.
