Any new 14500 Batteries?

Not sure if this the right spot to ask... but curious if there are any new 14500 batteries out with higher amp limits than the AW and EFEST. With the new 18650s with 20amp, 30 amp limits... just thought someone might know of something similar for the 14500s...

I have not heard about anything new with higher amp limits. You are not going to get 20A in that size though for a while yet. They are just too small to do that with our present technology.

Thanks for the reply... yeah, I couldn't find any... but of course, that didn't stop me from searching... and hoping! I guess i'll just have to wait til the technology is here... (not like i'm going anywhere!) vape on! 18650 til then...

Yeah, at the state of current technology it's just a practical matter of the physical size of the 14500 can. Only so much battery goo you can cram in there. Don't be tempted by protected ICR batteries that allege higher mAh ratings, but don't necessarily have high drain rates to back them up either. Most (blank)Fire batteries fit that category.
