Any new 14500 Batteries?

Hello,

I currently use AW IMR 14500s... I was just curious if anyone knows of any new batteries that might offer higher amp limits. I know a lot of new high amp batteries are appearing in the 18650 world, so i was curious if there has been any new releases for 14500. I'm really enjoying the VTC4s in my 18xxx mods, but I would like to get some of my 14500 mods back into rotation, but find that a single coil at 1ohm is less than satisfying these days...

I think the efast has a little better amp limit. Have you looked into them?

There's nothing in 14500 or 18350 that will take you into the sub-ohm world. You might be able to go to 0.9 ohms, but with the typical 700 mAh they are not going to last long before you have to recharge. They are just too small for sub-ohm applications.

Thanks... i have a few Efest as well. But if i recall, those are 5.6amp. although slightly higher, i stick with the AWs for name brand peace of mind... I'm really looking for anything new that reaches... maybe 15amps? From what i'm hearing, it doesn't exist... YET.

I just really like the form factor. they used to satisfy, prior to discovering dual coil vaping... but now, its hard to go back to single 1-ohm coils. And i'd like to get these back into rotation just because i like the size... but i guess i can't until battery technology moves forward quite a bit. But i still use my 14500s here and there, they have their place for me... but i just cant use them as an all day device these days.
