I'm just wondering; I know basically there's the 901, 801, 510, the mini 400 series, etc.... and that aftermarketers are building battery boxes. I'm aware of cartomizers (wouldn't use 'em, they are waste-y) but I'm wondering-- is there any industry development on anything REALLY new? Not just a rejumble of old parts or new kind of adapters?

Every time someone posts on some new ecig, it's a novel repackaging of stuffr that's already around. Not that it's not good stuff... but heck, "enquiring minds wanna know"

Well, I don't know of any US industry that has so far to boot... all this stuff is chinese, isn't it? I didn't necessarily mean that I was wondering if a U.S. version was coming out. If the chinese did this first generation of products, I just wondered if they had anything in the works.

And good luck to any government that wants to ban this stuff; it ain't gonna happen. If it does happen, analogs will have to be banned too, and that ain't gonna happen.

Methinks.

You're assuming that they will use reason. That's a mistaken assumption when it comes to gov't....

... and questionable even when you're just talking about humans.

These things are selling very well like they are. The manufactures have found a gold mine and the cost of retooling to make a different product kills most good ideas. They will not even use better gage ni-chrome wire in the coils because they would last longer and bring profits down. It's about constant money flowing in.

And Jim got the US angle right. Waste of time at this point.

A new atomizer with a controll of temprature is more harltcare for all,now we have not a controll for the temperature ,and the all liquids with chemical subsantance make more agressive new other chemicakl subsatance in the liquid the 901 or 801 atomizer make a temprature for 200 °,my question is 200 or 300 ° good for the heathcre and good for the liquid ,is it not better a temperture for a liquid make a test ,the future we want a atomizer they make a ideal temperature for a healthcare liquid ,this is a big ponit in the e-smoking area !

I agree Rico, there must be a "perfect Temp" for liquid. I believe some said between 180 and 240 is what they are now (not sure) but that is a broad range. The problem with maintaining constant temp. even with a controller is that the battery drains and changes heat after each draw. Starts at 240 and drops to 180 when battery is low.
Electronics could compensate, but expensive. USB devices could use a controller but are limited to 5v output. I use a 6v mod and like the higher temps.

Maybe some day we will be able to have this option.
