ok so ill keep this short , but i was thinking while driving the other day , and this is what i came up with , its a cross between a 901 and an 808-d1.

ill call it "direct wick" ... sort of like dripping but less dripping...

basically the bottom is all sealed , and using scubadabatdan (i know thats not it ,but you know who im talking about) , anyways using his carto idea , the tube should be raised a good bit , the coil could theoretically be quick-change with ic-socket pins , or not , either way , the idea is basically the wick goes straight into the bottom of the atomizer tube , and since its all sealed up (the airhole is flipped to the top , basically i overlooked it , but experimentation would be needed anyways...) ... anywho im rambling again , so check out the pick and let me know what you think...

also : im looking at the dse 108 from vaporcountry and just wondered if theres any opinions on em ?

Over a year ago I demonstrated that direct feed of an atomiser was eminently feasible, by having one end dipped in a tray of e-liquid, as shown in this video:

Very little heat is conducted away by the reservoir - if it was the coil would not work well.

In traditional designs the 'wick' is not used as a wick, just a small temporary reservoir; but it works just right as a wick too, as shown in this experiment.

The question remains, however, how to make such an arrangement portable ...

i tried basically the same thing , but my issue was yes it works , but does it actually taste useable? in my experiments , i used junk juice , so im not sure what it tasted like. it smelled like the juice did , but that was horrible anyways.

im workin on it , heres a pic. i know its been thought of , i just dont know why it hasnt been done.maybe it has...

of course there will be some wick , but basically what im looking to do is use the through hole ic legs , stuck through a regular bottle cap , as the power connector. then using ic legs again , for the coil , if mounting the coil horizontal , you could use a long length of wick , coiled in the bottom , and if mounting it vertically like this (or even at an angle) , you would have ome long side , and you might want to use a carto type tube , where you could have the coil plug into the carto centerpost. its just a proof of concept.

any thoughts?
and if im copying someone sht ,,, trout slap me?
