Any opinions about the Odyssey by TW

Just got one a few days ago and like it so far. Was just dripping prior because I love the flavor you get from dripping but it is nice to set up your tank with the carto and forget the bottle for a while. Anyone have the pros and cons on the Odyssey.. likes .. dislikes.. I have been vaping since 2008 and am at the point that I just want to find the most versatile system that I feel best to stick with. Haven't really had the Odyssey long enough to judge but I think I might have to MOD a little because I notice the battery life is short lived and it seems like the juice doesn't get hot enough!!

I got the Odyssey because I really liked the looks of it. I think it's well built and I love the tank. All in all a solid device. I do have a couple cons. One is the locking mechanism. It definitely works but for me it works too well. Sometimes I can't get the dang thing unlocked. The second is that because of the shape it can't be stood on end. Not a huge deal but I did find that it bothered me for some reason. I apparently didn't think that all the way through when I bought it.

I find that I'm not using it much right now but it is being kept as a sturdy backup mech.

Thanks Leal... I concur with the stand on end, which would definitely come in handy while pre-soak on the carto. Haven,t had any locking problems outside of it sticking a few times when I tried to activate the button... As far as the thing being hard to unlock... heard somebody include in one of the threads that on occasion he had to clean the brass screw on the lower battery lead and he ended up taking the button assembly off as well. When he put it back together, he used a very fine amount of Vaseline worked into the workings of the button and that problem was alleviated. I believe the actual post was located in the tech issues threads but that is the best I can recall.

Thanks again for the input,
Tom

Hey Leal.. Got to thinkin a few hours ago about the stand on end thing.... When your replacing the atty for a new one and you have the tank off the Odyssey... The button area fits nicely in the upper tank hole, So I pre-soaked the atty.. screwed it into the bat and rested the whole thing atop the tank while it was sitting on the table. Actually works to my surprise ... surprised I didn't think of it before! That settles the pre-soak thing for me but I am still the same as you because I don't like to place my units on the side when I put them somewhere. Roll of a table that way and get broken or just scratched up and what-not.
Anyway, Thought I would post to give others the idea!!
