Can't say much about the v3 because I don't own one but I have a origen v2 with b/f and I like it. Haven't used it in a long time but it's a flavor monster. It sqounks great but the v2 and those big dual wells, it doesn't drain but I still enjoy it. I think v3 is all open well right? There's not two separate wells?

I'm running both the v2 and v3 in BF on my REOs. They work great. They both have the large open wells. I would not say they are separate wells as they are connected under the build deck, just my opinion. They squonk great but the do not drain at all. with the squonk pin the juice comes out at the bottom of the build deck and saturates the wick right at the coil then the excess drains into the wells. Once its in there it will pool up. Be careful with how much you squonk or you will flood it out and it may leak in your pocket or if you lay it down. I only own two drippers, the v2 and the v3. As far as I am concerned these are the only two drippers I will ever need. They are great attys, very versatile for single or dual coil, straight drip or BF, numerous airflow options/holes and they look fantastic, just a clean overall look with no visible engravings or graphics. I do not think you will be disappointed.

The v1 Origen was the version with two completely separate juice wells. V2 and V3 decks are identical and both have a shared juice well. The only difference between the two is like inswyva said, the fins on the top cap and a little large air holes. The BF pins work with either version.

I'll also mention that if you get a BF pin, go for the stainless steel version. I broke one of the brass versions tightening the center pin down on my v2 and with the ohms from the type of coils you will be running in the Origens, you will not notice a difference in conductivity between the pins, but there is definitely a difference in the durability of the metals.

Waiting on VapinArts' supposed end of April ETA that has long come and gone with still no atty in stock ffs.

I've been wondering this as well. I'm looking to get an Origen V3, but from what I've seen of the BF pin, it doesn't look as though it'd drain since the feed hole is so high. I wonder if it would be possible to cross-drill the pin at deck level...

Why would you want it to drain considering it has a deck with juice capacity? On the contrary I would wish it never drained considering the coils will always be above the deck of the juice well, so I don't have to squonk as often while having a little juice always feeding the wicks from the deck.

Unless you really need to lay the REO flat down on the sides, I don't get why you would need full drainage on these attys. Tbh the chalice 3 I got is annoying with how efficiently it drains and how often I have to squonk after nearly every hit depending on wick and coil build. The worst part is it's not like you can have much wick in there to begin with either way. InB4 the fresh hit every time comments.
