A lot of people on vaporwall actually want the brass over the SS. It initially was going to come with SS. Then a last minute change to brass.

So i finally got the Origen V2 with BF kit. Anyone got any picts of their build? Im using 9 wrap 28g with 1.6mm ID. Flavour and vapor is great but i think dripping on it gives better flavour as the wicking from the juice well isn't that great :S
The one in the picture is 1/16". Since using a harder hitting mod, I have gone to a 5/64" ID, 26ga, 8 wraps which meters to around 0.4Ω. I also started using koh gen do pure cotton (thanks super_X!).
Cool. Anwyays i rebuilt my coil to 2mm ID using 30g 7 wraps each. Followed your wicking method where its U shaped and falls over to the next well although it seems redundant as the well connected now. I seem to have lost some flavour due to this as opposed to the straight cotton vertical wick. 
do u experience the same thing with U wicks? or could be my coil is a little too far from the air holes. It doesnt seem that way though.

I haven't wicked just vertical cotton for a while now so I can't compare but I don't have a problem with flavor. The only reason why I've gone for the U wick was because it was draining both wells evenly. I'll try vertical cotton wicks again when my V2 gets here. If you're using 30ga wire, try a 1/16" id. You might find better flavor there. Only reason why I went with 5/64" ID was because I found that as I go lower in ohms, my coils would glow even with a primed wick in it with a 1/16" ID. I'm not sure if the amount of cotton I was using was incorrect but I've tried different wick densities and the coil eventually glowed again.
This thread is a bit on the zombie side, but who else has messed with this new Origen BF? The price isn't terrible and the build quality looks sweet. Any other users out there???

I have it on my LP grand. Any ideas what is the best way to lay the cotton in the wells? Since the juice comes out from the bottom of the 2nd nut, possible to circle one leg of cotton around it?
So I need to get the $18 extra thingy brass + some knurdle stuff as BF? Thanks for the help

I'm getting a BF Origen on Monday or Tuesday. Just had dinner with the owners of Vapor Kings and Rob (VK Rob) said he has the BF version now. Can't wait to try it. Gotta order an LP now. Been holding off.....it's time.
Wicked my 0.5ohm dual coils with #500 mesh. Seems to wick better than cotton. There was an issue with cotton not wicking the juice from wells up fast enough. Mesh seems to solve that. Now i can vape the wells dry without tasting burnt cotton or dry hits from the mesh wicks.
