This is my second Jeep (a ZJ, aka 98 Grand Cherokee) and we have a love hate relationship. There's not much done to it really. 2'' Rubicon Express lift, 242 transfer case swap, TJ Moab wheels and 265/70/16 Treadwright guard dogs (they come large, actually equal about a 32). Waiting to go on it I have 3.5'' teraflex coils, bilstein 5100 series shocks, transfer case skid plate, front lower control arms, and all I need now is track bars and end links and she'll be sitting a little higher. Anywhere here's a pic or 2...

Here's one of my first Jeep, a 95 Limited that I rolled...I still miss it...

And for BillyWJ, here's my brother's at Rausch Creek, white 03 limited 4.7ho with quadradrive, OME coils, MX6 shocks JK wheels and tires, IRO rock sliders, HID's ect ect....he removes the front bumper cover for offroad otherwise it'd be all smashed up..still needs front disconnects but those will come when he lifts it more....

Anyways, if any of you have Jeeps, share them!

Well, at least we know there's two of us here :)

I've owned a number of Jeeps over the past 20 years, all Wranglers;

- '88 YJ, 4.2L, 3 speed auto, carter carb.....enough said!

Big_Red#1.jpg

- '95 YJ 4.0L, 5 speed manual.....broke both motor mounts on my Great Aunts farm, had to hike 5 miles back to the house to grab a tractor to drag it home :)

January_15_1999_05.jpg

- '06 TJ Rubicon, 4 speed auto.....did Moab three days after I picked it up, crapped my pants doing Lions back!

Steve's06Rubi01.jpg

- '09 JK Rubicon, 6 speed manual.....Getting a bit older now, had to get the power options package :p

SteveJ_09Rubi_01.jpg

And my current Jeep, a 2012 JK Rubicon, 5 speed auto, all the factory goodies, 33" KM2's, 2" TeraFlex Leveling kit, dual tops etc. This one's my daily driver in the summer when the weather is crappy, and my "winter beater" when I put my Camaro away.

Nice! Thanks for sharing. The wheels on my Jeep are from a TJ Rubicon, my brother's are from a JK. I would love a JK someday. Very nice jeeps you have there. I can't wait to get a better setup on mine. I'd like to have the rear 44a rebuilt and locked. Slowly but surely. I've had it for like 6 years now. How do you like the new motor compared to the old 3.8? I hear it's a whole different beast...

The new PentaStar V6 is amazing! Smaller motor with 75 more HP than the '09 AND it gets better gas mileage both city and highway......not to mention that the '09 was struggling in 6th with the 33's.

Yeah that's what I've heard. Now I just want a JK with an LS motor in it and I'd be a happy camper. Lol. My brother also has a camaro, older than yours but still nice. He's owned it since 99. 85 Z28...

This year he wants to paint the ground effects white to match and put an ss hood on it....I've got a 68 Firebird with 63k on it but it hasn't been on the road since 97, no pics unfortunately. Nice collection you've got going there!

Seems like Jeeps and Camaros/Firebirds go together :toast:

I like the two tone paint on your brother's car. I think all white would be a little too plain.

As for you, you really need to get that '68 on the road, or sell it to me! LOL

I was a life long T/A owner before I picked up my 2010 Callaway Camaro. I started with a '79 WS6 when I turned 16, then moved to a '97 T/A that I did the LT4 Hot Cam conversion with ported heads, 3.42's and Vigilante 2800. After that came the 2002 Firehawk, no motor work but I was running SLP LT's, high flow cats, Loudmouth, 3.73's and a Vigilante 2800.

Nice Rubi papajeep.

I loved my '06.....probably the most fun I've ever had in a Jeep, but I never got into mud quite that deep!

Yeah i'm not a big mud fan myself anymore. I used to play in it a lot with my old 92 Rodeo I had. My first 4x4 and I beat it pretty good. Offroad it can't even compare to the Jeep though. When I got my first Jeep and took it on some trails I had the Rodeo on it was like going from an escort to a Cadillac as far as ride and everything. I really like having coils all the way around. Here's the old rodeo...

Oh and a friend of mine has a 94 Z28. 383 stroker all balanced and blueprinted, blower, moser 9'' rear, 4.11 gears, locker... putting out about 600hp to the wheels. It's a nasty car, unfortunately he's lost interest in it though. It barely has many miles on the fresh motor.

Since the rockers on my Jeep are starting to rott (NY winters take their toll on vehicles) this is what I want to have done. It'll fix the rocker issue and give me sliders at the same time...

Have them cut right out and have steel welded in place with kickers running back to the unibody just like sliders would. Unfortunately I don't have a welder or any of the tools required to do it but I know a few people who do. Ahhh, more plans that money...sucks lol. Sorry for the small pics they're screen shots I took a while back..

Oh and this is how the first Jeep ended up. It breaks my heart. I got a smoking deal on that Jeep too. It was like 7 years ago I bought it and paid 2k for it, needed nothing and had a bunch of new parts on it. I bought it from a friend who was pretty .... with it. I totalled it and insurance gave me almost 5 for it.

7ebyhude.jpg

I'm lucky I walked away from that. I was going around a curve in 2wd and the roads were just damp but there was a bunch of slush on the side of the road and my rear right tire just caught a tiny bit of it and it sent me sideways across oncoming traffic into a ditch and it flipped on me. I just missed a telephone pole and a barn too. Someone was definitely watching out for me that day. It landed upside down and I couldn't get my seatbelt off at first, pretty scary. I never want to experience that again. I parted out a lot from that Jeep. It was so clean too, no rust or anything. Then I had to start over with the 98 so I switched the lift over and the transfer case along with tires and rims. Those were Interco Trxus's. I liked those tires. I got my money's worth out of them and now have the TJ wheels with treadwrights on the Jeep. I really like those too and for the money you can't beat them. I read tons of reviews on them before I bought them and the reviews were pretty good. They balanced perfectly and they go really well in the snow. Haven't had them on much for rocks yet though. Sorry for all the long posts lol. It's nice having someone else that has the same hobbies/interests. Vaping, Jeeps, and muscle cars, well and guns too lol. All expensive hobbies for the most part.

Nice looking JK you've got there! I really like that color on those wheels too. I actually considered painting my TJ moabs that color.

The only problem with a two Jeep household is figuring out which Jeep to modify first, yours or her's.

Like the old saying goes, Just Empty Every Pocket........in your case it looks like it's going to be empty BOTH pockets LOL

Tell me about it! My latest round of improvements set me back about 4K (tires, gears, rear bumper, programmer), and I've got another 5K worth of stuff already lined up. Worth every penny and every second sweating and bleeding under it, though. Wouldn't trade it for the world.
