Thanks heaps for the replies, I've got a friend in Oz who is wondering whether they can order supplies and get them past their customs, I'll have a read through the Oz forum and maybe help answer this question for them before they waste their money :)

Meantime, thanks again, and if anyone is visiting NZ, please feel free to look me up.

Hi
I'm a kiwi vaper from Wellington! Been on e-cigs about 6 weeks now. It is legal for Ozzies and Kiwi's to order from overseas up to 3 months supply of nicotene in juice or cartridges. My friend in Oz ordered from NZ no problems. Intellicig.co.nz is up and running in NZ and supplies to NZ and Oz but we both have to order our nic from their UK site.

Hi
It's pretty new here in Wellington too.
I picked up the Intellicig Evo starter kit in the last 2 weeks and am loving their flavours (Rich & Menthol) in the Ecopure juice.
To be honest it was the flavour juices that got me off the real cigarettes for good. It's great finally having a e-cig company in NZ to buy the gear from, even if we still have to order nic from UK :)

and yip, it is pretty convoluted alright. Our authorities all of a sudden reckon that nicotine is a medicine. (yeah right !), of course they currently get a 8.5 million NZD annual subsidy for nicotine patches and gum that works for less than 5% of smokers... I guess they're trying to protect their turf, but to do so when there now genuinely is a decent smoking alternative is incorrigible. They're clearly prejudiced against smokers more than they are against smoking. (sorry about the rant:)

Don't worry man, if there's anyone who gets it, it's us!

I remember trying the Quit Plan thing when I was down there. 6 months of patches and gum for $15 NZ. It's a great deal. Even if it doesn't work, at least you guys don't bleed people dry trying to quit like the US does. But, obviously... it didn't work.

Yeah, just the drug companies trying to make sure no but them can deal their drugs. Same story as over here. The first vaper I ever met was in NZ, actually. And I found out later that he used to be on ECF! It's a small world.
