I recently bought a pair of the new AW 800mAh cells from RTD vapor and it seems they are the ones to get from what i read. I heard the Efest's don't last as long. I am curious if anyone knows of a battery in the 18350 size that may be equal to or have longer run time than the AW 's that i bought .

I have not seen Sony , Samsung or LG batteries in that size.

Thank you

When I bought 18350 and 18490 I got AW because I thought they would perform best and that was before the new ones that were just released. In 18650 I use other batteries.

Longer run time and 18350 arent used in the same sentence lol

Yeah, seems that way , mediocre at best .

And yea aw is the most counterfeited brand ever. When your a vendor you have to trust what your supplier says they are. But aw himself has a contact on CPF for direct vendor sales

Yeah, i read a lot of info in there .

You would think that if they can pack 2000-3000 mah into 65mm, they should be able to get more than 800 into 35mm.

I started with AWs, got some efest because they were cheap, went back to AW. I don't use 18350 enough to see a difference.

Everywhere i have been and read say the Efest's definitely don't last as long but if they are close i wouldn't mind paying less. I am convinced a ton of people have fake AW's that they are convinced are real and those don't last long at all , Ebay sells thousands of them and most seem to be totally unaware .

Even guys who are very experienced like Batitude said he believes he has some fake AW's . The recycling logo on them should be hollow not black , it's traced in black but it's hollow inside is just one way to tell a fake is what i read .
First one real , second fake.

The black AW logo was eliminated back in 2013 .

The AW18350s are the pick of the bunch, but we are talking like a few hits vaping longer life than red efests in the same form factor. They are both great.

Purple efest 18350s suck for run time.

People have been reporting great 18350 performance from MXJO, but they are another rewrap just like AW and Efest.

I'm not so sure that the AW IMR's are re-wraps. It is only a hunch, but I think AW actually make their own IMR batteries in 14500, 18350, 18490, and 18650 size in battery plants in China.

It's been generally acknowledged that the protected AW ICR batteries (black & silver) are re-wraps (probably Panasonics). It even says on the shrink wrap, "Made in China, cell made in Japan".

However, the red AW IMR batteries say only, "Made in China". AW came out with the first IMR chemistry batteries. I know of no Japanese battery manufacturers who make anything IMR other than an 18650 battery. Hmmmm.

Efests? Who knows. Maybe they are AW seconds that didn't make the cut.

Some of the older authentic AW batteries legitimately have a black recycling logo. I have some that I bought from RTD Vapor, a reseller of authentic AW batteries. Newer authentic AW batteries that have the hologram sticker should only have the hollow recycling logo.

I have heard that as well. I have also heard that Efest makes some of their own smaller batteries. I have no proof of either, just have read more that each are rewraps more than I have the other way. :)

At any rate, I own a good deal of both and can honestly say that each is a good battery. AW a little better for a little more money. (EFEST Purples suck though :) )

Bumping this because I didn't want to make a new thread to ask a fairly simple question:

18350's are supposed to hit as hard as 18650 right?

I recently bought an Efest 18350 800mah because I was already ordering batteries and it was less than $4, and I figured I would give 18350 a try for the heck of it and maybe for stealth vaping purposes. When I tried it it definitely wasn't hitting like a fully-charged 18650, probably about half as hard... Even though I had just charged it a day or two before trying it I had to check and make sure it was fully charged, but it was.

What type of mod are you using this on? And what is the resistance of the atomizer?

It could be that the 18350 has more of a voltage sag than the 18650. This would be more evident on a mechanical mod than a regulated mod.

Chipotle.
I like the blue Tensai 18350s. 14 amps stated cdr, and they test well.
I'll second that, I own a pair of the Tensai 18350 700mah (14A), they are true to form and perform very well for the size, I have yet to have them get anything more than luke warm during use and I have fired as low as 0.27 on them for 5 second pulls, the main issue for me is at that resistance you get(...not kidding) Ten to Twelve five second pulls before the battery is at 3.6v resting, from full charge...no thanks! From my experience with them 0.50-0.80 is where they perform extremely well, no heat from them even with long pulls on lower battery voltage.

Is there any place in the US to order the Tensais?? Id like to try a pair with my Vamo. I have a pair of Efests that I used to stack in it until they started draining a bit funny so I use them one at a time now, but yeah I can kill one in like a couple of hours with my chain vaping at like 15w. Bought em back in November and they already seem to be losing a little capacity already.
