Some offer improved flavor, or so it's said. I like the larger wide bore ones myself.

Don't forget it's a way to personalize your mod a bit as well.

Some (ahem... Anna) like the wild mood lamp looking things. :) paired with a colorful tip.

I've always used the drip tip that came with my mod. Any perk - other than cuteness - for using other tips?
The stock drip tip that comes with the rda I use every day is too narrow to drip trhough plus I like my rig to be as short as possible so I use a short wide bore drip tip available from Fastech for a buck a peice.

I have to say I'm not a big fan of stainless drip tips. I ordered one for the Baby beast and found it to transfer a little heat as well as add a taste I couldn't wash out. Keep in mind that's just me.

I have one RDA that came with a plastic one I really like, ended up finding the exact one on FT, will add to my other RDA. Could've switched every time but I'm .... like that.

I do like the wild looking tanks (and I'd buy a lava lamp tank any day of the week) but actually, my preferred drip tip is the Nautilus 2 drip tip. I use them on my Kabuki and clone (blasphemy!) but I just happen to love that shape, and I think it does a great job "pooling" my MTL vape on my tongue. Oh, I have a few others in rotation, and I really only can deal with SS driptips if they are very long, for some reason.

I'd probably buy some colorful, bell shaped drip tips at some point, but it's not super high on my priority list, honestly.... I'm pretty happy with all my setups. IDK what it is about the N2 drip tip that does it for me, but it does....

Those are beautiful! Yeah, I do think buying more drip tips would likely be for looks purposes, though I am more of a functional vaper, honestly. If it works, great. If it looks fantastic, even better. But, I rarely bling myself out, let alone my vaping equipment. I don't even have earrings (even gold or silver posts wound up irritating my ears) though maybe I should try some titanium jewelry? I've got 8 posts in my mouth and I don't seem to be allergic to them... I can't really enjoy/handle stuff around my neck or a bracelet, I don't even wear watches, the metal ones give me a rash, too, and well, they break.

I actually had to beg the husband to knock it off with the jewelry. I don't wear it, or I lose it. I also prefer plastic or paper flowers to real ones, too. I know, I'm a freak, but the first time the husband came home with a bouquet of family dollar flowers, I was so HAPPY.

1) Cut flowers just remind me of my own mortality and watching them wither and die is morbid....
2) I'm a freak? I just like permanency, LOL. I have to dust my "bouquets" from time to time, however....

Cowtown, USA. Where the West begins.
It's mostly personal preference. Some people like glass tips or stainless, or ultem, and all for different reasons. Different bore diameters and lengths can help you fine tune the draw, the heat, the flavor, etc. Get a few cheap ones in different sizes and give it a try.

Cuteness is great, but there are other reasons, too. I mean, there have been tanks with DT I have absolutely hated, and my experience has changed with them when I change the driptip. I actually like that there are a lot of styles and types, but how it feels on my lips is genuinely a deciding factor.... If I bought "cute" driptips, I'd be pretty certain to use the bell or reverse bell shape, since it seems to be my favorite. I have to say, moving on from stainless driptips is the best thing ever, I rarely use them unless they are absolutely FANTASTIC at vape delivery, delrin is so much easier to maintain.

I had no idea I had all these opinions on driptips, but apparently I do.... :)
