I was forcing my tank with pliers and a towel and I think I chipped of some paint

Would this cause any problem or issues? And how to fix it

(can attach more photos if needed)

Pliers are probably a bad choice for stuck parts. Go to one of the Dollar stores or Walmart in you area and buy a pack of those waffle pad jar openers. You just wrap it around the atty or the part you are trying to take apart and it multiplies your grip several times. Most are a piece of cake to remove with a waffle pad.

Won't cause any problems, ignore the little scratches.

Your tank should never be tightened to the point you need anything other than your fingers to loosen. Just tight enough to make elec contact & prevent wobble.
well except if you have arthritis :pervy: my grip is not what it should be...but I second the "waffle pad jar openers" thingies....they have been wonderful...at times yes i still need pliers but you must be very careful i've smashed a few 510 connections on atties this way

as far as chipped paint...that's eventually going to happen, sadly
if you have a glass tank though, becareful not to scratch the glass otherwise it can and will break on you

Your photos aren't showing correctly for me, but in the little I can see there's just a 510 connector that appears to be the mod. Is that where you scratched the paint?
no its the edge pf the mod

Yes, I saw that scratch it is absolutely not dangerous in any way, nor is paint chipping or flaking off ANYWHERE on said mod or tank as long as it's external to the tank, meaning not in contact with the eliquid.

But that's fine, and if you ever drop your setup and get another chip, that is most likely also fine. It is the nature of paint to chip unfortunately.

Ideas about keeping tank looser, and how to loosen a stubborn tank, seconded!

Good luck, keep vaping and enjoy.
