So I just got my starter kit today. Heard some good things bout watermelon (plus i love watermelon flavors). This is my 1st starter kit, any other flavors you all may recommend for prefilled, especially for now this is mostly for me to use while dealing with the stresses at work. I am up for any suggestions..

I dont shy away from fruity flavors (as you can tell), was a camel smoker when i smoked, preferred the turskish blends and the some of the exotic flavors (they use to come in tins)

I asked the same question when I started and even was a bit upset by the lack of people helping me with good flavors. What you will find is that a bunch of people will talk about how amazing a flavor is and you get all fired up about it and order it. You get it and find it tastes like fermented dog poop. Taste and what is good is so subjective and individual that getting a good recomendation is as hit and miss as just trying different flavors. Maybe start by getting a sample pack of what sounds good to you?

 Like BiXLL said, we could recommend a ton of flavors that we like, but when you taste them, well BiXLL has said it all.

BUT, if you absolutely want an answer here is my :2c: My everyday (almost all day) flavor is Black Magic from EC Blends. I also like Huntsman from EC Blends and RY4. All of these are supposed to be tobacco flavors, but don't think they taste or smell like normal cigarettes, nothing will. They either taste or smell like fresh tobacco like when you opened a pack of smokes and smelled the raw tobacco. Get the Point? Finding your favorite juice is like a woman who has to kiss a lot of frogs before she finds her prince.

Hi Yokymo and Welcome to the SI Forum! :)

You made the right decision in getting the Volt starter kit. It's one of the best on the market! :thumb:

My suggestion for prefilled cartridges would be the smooth sampler, a variety of tobacco flavors. My favorite is SI's RY4, tobacco with a hint of caramel. The problem with prefilled cartridges is you have to keep them moist and without the bottles of liquid to top them off, it will dry out and loose flavor.

SI is carrying a new juice line (Niquid) but they don't come in prefilled cartridges. You would have to get some blank (empty) cartridges and fill them yourself. There is a video on the SI website that shows you how to do that.

My absolute favorites from the new juice line so far are Strawnanna Smoothie and Southern Freeze (fruity menthol) but I'm still sampling new flavors. The process of trying new flavors is so much fun. Just don't start with the large size.

As for SI's original line of liquids, RY4 is my #1 everyday vape. The other juices I mentioned above are flavors to change up throughout the day.

Best of luck on your new vaping journey!

This is the best analogy I've ever read about juice searching. I have a box full of 50+ frogs...and a couple of princes. AND to complicate things, some of those frogs used to be princes but reverted back after my tastes changed.

Here is when the $ can pile up. What you like today you may not like tomorrow or a week or whatever from now. 6 months later and my taste change all the time.

By samples. 3 ml or 5 ml. Then buy more samples. I am convinced the 3 ml and 5 ml sample bottles are different than what the 30 ml mixed batches are. The samples will taste great then the larger ones will not taste great.

Don't get mad about it. It is what it is... a whirlwind journey for your taste buds. Embrace it. There are tons of liquid vendors out there.

I did what I would do with my friends when we would go out at night. Start at the top of the shot list and go to the bottom. It was a great time when they would come back home for leave.

I keep menthol and unflavored just for those times when I can't be satisfied.

Hi Again Yokymo,

To confuse things further, your favorite juice will taste quite different in a cartomizer, than it will in a tank, or clearomizer. Some tanks and clearomizers enhance the vapor and flavor, and others mute the flavor or vapor. It all depends on the wicking material, and coil resistance as well as the voltage at which you vape. Now are you thoroughly confused? So were all of the rest of us. Most standard throw away batteries from SI and Ego put out a steady 3.7 volts until the battery is drained. With a variable volt device, you can adjust that up or down, and with a variable watt device you can adjust the wattage. Now you really get into some weird adjustments. For now, just stick to the 3.7 Volt standard battery like those from Smokless Image, find your favorite juice, vape it from a prefilled cartomizer, or buy blank cartomizers and fill them with a standard juice. Then read, read, read and chat, chat and chat and you will learn fast.

Thanks for all the suggestions, def going to take them all into account, seems like i will be on a witch hunt for awhile until i find the flavors that suit my needs.

I will say the Watermelon is pretty good, its not over power just a nice hit of watermelon. I will just continue my hunt and like many of you said i will just have to read, learn and figure it out.

Being new to something is exciting and sucks all at the same time.. So many options out there..my brain my just explode.

Welcome to the club! Even after 3 yrs of vaping, there are STILL times when I think my head will explode. Yep, love that dog poop/frogs analogy. It's sooooo true, LOL.

I second the motion about getting lots of different samples. And the ones you don't like .... well, don't throw them away. Because you might like some of them next week or next month. Or you can mix the "unlikeables" together and create something new that you will like. You never know. :D
