Hi!
I'm writing to ask for recommendaitons for a good charger.
I have a ego 510 set with a
couple of 650mAh batteries which are 5 push to turn on & 2 1100mAh manual batteries. I've been having terrible problems with chargers. I use the kind that has a transformer/rectifier that plugs into the wall and has a USB to 510 thread cord. I seem to be killing chargers at the rate of one per week.

I've tried new suppliers & new batteries. I also have tried plugging into USB ont he computer, to rule out mains power issues (although I plug them into a conditioner with 130vac clamping & recording- Just to rule out line side problems.) The step down/rectifier blocks all seem fine, but the USB cords are the ones failing. One one, I get a green light immediatley & it never charges. On another, I get no light on a third, I get the red light which remains forever. They are stated to be 4.2 volt dc out @ 420ma. I read 3.2 on one & 3.35 on another & nothing ont he third.

For right now II m
soldered some wires on an old cartomizer's threaded boss. I connect that to a current limited 4.19 volt DC supply. I babysit it. Goofy, but effective. I apoligize this writing is goofy & has errors. The browser won't let me navigate this window to correct my lousy typing! I certainly appreciate any opinions & experiences you all have had with good chargers. Thanks very much, Paul
