I've been using pluid with my protank, and I've unfortunately used all my atomizers with pluid, so they all smell pretty strongly of it. I was going to boil/dry burn/boil one of the atomizers to try and get the taste out, but every time I've done that in the past I had no idea how to get the smell of pluid out of the rubber grommets that go over the protank wicks. I'm afraid they'd melt if I boil them. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm assuming it'll be really leaky if I don't use the grommet at all (I get occasional leaking even with it).

They are silicone, so they won't melt if you boil them. I soak mine, along with my atomizer heads in vodka for a few hours, then rinse with really hot water. I think boiling everything would work well for you! Definitely continue to use your silicone grommets on your heads, otherwise, you will get flooding and leaks. Hope this helps!
