Any tank with an ego battery?

I have an ego ce5 torpedo, 650 mAh if that matters. I like to vape mtn. dew flavors, and I just read that it can mess up the plastic clearomizers. Is this true?

If so, what other kind of tanks can I purchase that would work and not cost a lot? By a lot I mean not much more than a regular clearo. Any suggestions on a good place to buy them from? I am pretty sure that is the case because I am vaping spicey chai right now from vape dudes and it's not tasting anything like it did this morning.

This whole thing is confusing to me. Getting a little disappointed in myself for not knowing any better. Please help!

There is a wonderful little polypro tank you put punched cartos in, it does not leak, it is cheap and works really well. You can find them here- high desert vapes I think it is $11?? He has hand blown pyrex ones too, but much more expensive. The polypro works. bnrk

think protanks are $15 on fast techs site. made from glass and work great. besides that I think most glass cartotanks are over $20 then you still need to buy cartos and possibly a drip tip.

the protank clone im not sure if its really glass or not. theres a thread on it now and think theres some doubt

Polypropylene is another form of plastic and will not mess up with tank cracker juices (sometimes called polypro). ALso there are metal vivi novas that can take the tank crackers.

SO basically your choices are polypro, glass or metal

A protank IS a clearo. Same deal for maintenance. Clean,dry burn and when that isn't enough replace or rebuild the head.

I never dry burn the protank heads, just pop in my clean one, run the one I'm using under very hot water, blow out and dry overnight. Switch and repeat, it's working well for me.

ETA: keep in mind the protank build is bottom coil. That makes a world of difference over top coil, at least for me.

So silly question. lol Do you only dry burn if you aren't switching the head? And what type of difference does bottom coil make?

Will I have to get an adapter for a protank to screw on to my ego battery? Yeesh I am so confused!

With my protank I have one used oneI soaked in vodka for about 2 hour then put it in a little tin soap holder and a fresh one in the protank and ever 2 days I take out the one im using and put it in kodka and put the one thats been dryin in the protank and vape on ive learned if I do this the two wick heads last a long time. I dont dry burn I think that leaves a bad taste in the wicks. And thr pro tank comes with a beauty ring to make it look good on my ego
