Another reason (other than allergy) for VG based liquid was to also eliminate coughing or dry throat - but if you have neither of these then stick to just PG.
Its already pretty complicated for a newbie without having to worry about liquid! and you have so many flavors to play with!
Good luck!

Trust me i know. I had only heard of e cigs recently and found this forum via google before ordering and way overspending on a crappy kit. When i first started reading this forum, it was almost like reading a foreign language. All the regulars were using terms i had zero clue about. It was kinda like if say some 50 year old guy/girl went online for the first time and started chatting and was getting all the abbreviations people use.

I only asked about the liquids because i recently got my first kit and ordered a vial of this MB liquid, i'd assume short for Marlboro and it wasn't pleasant tasting, very harsh. Then a buddy just bought a joye 510 and got 5 apple carts with his order, i liked that much better. So i wanted to order 2-3 different liquids, but was trying to avoid wasting cash buying something that sucks for me. Saw on the liquid sites PG,VG, NON PG and sat there clueless as to what to pick.

It definitly is overwhelming..:) just start with your kit..play with flavors and once you become a die hard vaper there are endless ways to up the game!
Meanwhile just enjoy and keep it simple!
We all wasted mega bucks in the beginning - wrong ecig, wrong flavor etc..- but the thrill of getting a better deal or choice as you go along makes up for it too!
The money I wasted and still waste before I "got it" ! wow..it never ends!

Problem is... you're not going to know what sucks until you've tried some. Misty is right - "We all wasted mega bucks in the beginning..." (and I"m still beginning but learning quickly ;-) "...play with flavors and once you become a die hard vaper there are endless ways to up the game!"

You'll spend more for the smaller quantity bottles of eliquid at first but that's ok - you're 'sampling'. Once you find which flavors you like, and the nicotine percentage that you like, then you can 'go bulk' and get some unflavored with nicotine PG or VG to mix with either some flavored big amounts or with unflavored with no nicotine PG/VG and use flavoring from Loranns or elsewhere. That's when you'll start saving.
